The upcoming web series, Modi: CM To PM is going to cast Mahesh Thakur as Narendra Modi. The first season of the web series had Ashish Sharma, who was shown in the skin of Narendra Modi. 

About Web Series Modi: CM To PM

 The web series is going to portray the journey of PM Narendra Modi from his younger days to the present. In the first season, teenage life was depicted in the web series. This season will cover the further journey of the legend.The series will cover the parts from where the struggle had begun in his life. Then it will convey his service life where he spent as chief minister in three respective terms. Finally, the image of Modi as the Chief Minister of Gujarat that will extend to his crowning as the Prime Minister of India will also be highlighted in the web series.

 On the character of Narendra Modi, Mahesh Thakur expressed his excitement. He reportedly said, “Ever since childhood, we have often heard about the marvelous journey of our PM Narendra Modi and it’s a story that has marked a prestigious place in the history of our nation. Playing such a prestigious character is honestly an honor, but comes with great responsibilities. I am excited and looking forward to the viewer’s response. I am confident they will love the entire series.“ The web series is going to be aired on Eros Now from November 19.
