The film is the first installment of a two-part series, showcasing an Indian intelligence mission that unfolds over ten years. An undercover agent infiltrates Karachi’s criminal and political landscape to dismantle lethal cross-border terror networks.

Inspiration and Context

“Dhurandhar” draws inspiration from real-life events, including geopolitical tensions, the 1999 Indian plane hijack, the 2001 Indian Parliament attack, the 2008 Mumbai attacks, and covert operations conducted by India’s R&AW linked to Operation Lyari, as well as the crackdown on criminal syndicates.

The film is gaining momentum at the box office and is on track to become the third highest-grossing Hindi film of 2025, as well as the fourth highest-grossing Indian film of the same year. The sequel, “Dhurandhar: Part 2 – Revenge,” is set to release in 2026.

Television actor Anuj Sachdeva recently experienced a shocking attack in Mumbai from a resident of his own residential complex.

The ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlta Hai’ star shared a video on his Instagram, depicting a brutal confrontation with a fellow resident from his society in Goregaon. In the video, the attacker accuses Anuj, claiming that his dog had bitten him and was heard using abusive language directed at the ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’ actor.

Anuj further revealed that the suspect assaulted his dog after he had pointed out an issue with the man’s improper parking. In the video, Anuj could be heard confronting the attacker, who ominously asked, “Kutte se katwayega?”

The situation escalated until two security guards intervened. As the man was being taken away, he threatened Anuj’s life.

In his latest post, Anuj shared the flat number of his attacker as well. Accompanying the video, he wrote, “I am posting this evidence before this person tries to do any damage to me or my property. He tried hitting my dog and me with a rod for notifying in the society group regarding his car which was parked at the wrong place in the society parking. Harmony Mall residency. Goregaon. The shooting of director Krishnakumar Ramakumar’s upcoming film ‘G.D.N.’, featuring actor Madhavan as renowned Indian scientist G D Naidu, has officially wrapped up, as announced by the makers.

Producer Vijay Moolan, whose production house is behind this eagerly anticipated project, took to Instagram to share the news. He posted pictures from the wrap-up party held in Dubai, captioning, “And .. it’s a wrap for #GDN. WrapUpParty!”

Interestingly, just last week, Madhavan expressed his heartfelt birthday wishes for producer Vijay Moolan, highlighting the trust Moolan has in his abilities. On social media, Madhavan shared a photo of himself with Moolan, writing, “Wish you the HAPPIEST BIRTHDAY EVERRRR, my dear brother. For those who may not know, ‘G.D.N.’ is the highly awaited biopic of the esteemed scientist and industrial pioneer Gopalaswamy Doraiswamy Naidu, more commonly recognized as G D Naidu.

Earlier in November, Madhavan was engaged in filming the last schedule of the movie abroad. In October, the team unveiled the first look teaser. This clip showcased Madhavan transformed into Gopalaswamy Doraiswamy Naidu, depicted hard at work in his workshop. ‘G.D.N.’ narrates the life of Gopalaswamy Doraiswamy Naidu, a self-taught engineer, inventor, and industrialist from Coimbatore. His other notable inventions include petrol engines, ticket machines, and agricultural equipment.

Directed by Krishnakumar Ramakumar, ‘G.D.N.’ is produced by Varghese Moolan Pictures in collaboration with Tricolour Films. The core cast includes Priyamani, Jayaram, and Yogi Babu in significant roles, alongside others.

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin left a couple stunned when he surprised them with a live performance at their wedding.

He hopped behind the piano to play a song for the first dance of a newlywed couple who just tied the knot at a ceremony in England.

The mother of the groom had reached out to the 48-year-old star, initially asking for a video message to play during the celebrations. However, Martin revealed he was free that night and decided to perform live, as reported by mirror.co.uk.

The wedding took place in Staffordshire, where family and friends gathered to celebrate the couple. As the moment for the first dance arrived, Martin quietly entered and performed the song “All My Love.”

The venue owner explained that Martin was initially approached for a video but offered to go one better. “Chris got back and said he could go one better. He said, ‘I’m free that night, so I’ll come and play the first dance.’ He didn’t want any introduction, so we said it was the first dance, and he walked in and performed. The bride and groom did know he was coming. It was kept as a surprise for the guests. I don’t think they realized it was him until the end.”
