  • Bigg Boss 19’s Tanya Mittal returns to Gwalior, emotional reunion with her parents

Bigg Boss 19’s Tanya Mittal returns to Gwalior, emotional reunion with her parents

Bigg Boss Season 19 contestant and third runner-up Tanya Mittal was recently seen breaking down emotionally upon returning to her hometown of Gwalior, just a week after the show ended.

In a heartfelt video shared on her social media, Tanya embraces a man believed to be her father at the entrance of her home, surrounded by close family members who provided comfort during this emotional reunion. She captioned the video, “I am home.”

Overwhelmed with emotion, Tanya explained that she consciously chose not to mention her father’s name on the show to avoid drawing attention. She expressed concerns that doing so might lead fellow contestants to label her as attention-seeking or to target her even more. In the video, her family members consoled her, while her father gently reassured and comforted her.

Reflecting on Tanya’s journey in the Bigg Boss house, she often faced criticism, mockery, and bullying for openly discussing her wealth and luxurious lifestyle. Throughout the season, she talked about her multiple businesses and described her home as grand and palace-like. This attitude did not sit well with several contestants and certain viewers, who urged her to ‘get off her high horse.’

During multiple Weekend Ka Vaar episodes hosted by Salman Khan, Tanya was frequently called out, mocked, and sometimes laughed at. Media personnel inside the house questioned her credibility and accused her of being fake and dual-faced, particularly targeting her frequent references to wealth.

After her exit from the show, Tanya shared her disappointment and emotional hurt over a fallout with her close friend Neelam Giri, another contestant from the season. She mentioned that Neelam’s actions after her eviction had deeply affected her, as she had placed a lot of trust in her during their time together in the house.

Following the conclusion of the show, Tanya was spotted at Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple, seeking blessings and expressing gratitude to Ganpati Bappa.

After a week filled with interviews, professional commitments, and reconnecting with friends, Mittal returned to Gwalior to spend quality time with her parents and extended family. Notably, during her time in the Bigg Boss house, Tanya was offered a show by TV czarina Ekta Kapoor.

  • Farah Khan advises Kunickaa Sadanand to find a ‘new boyfriend’—here’s why!

Farah Khan advises Kunickaa Sadanand to find a ‘new boyfriend’—here’s why!

Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan recently shared some playful relationship advice with actress Kunickaa Sadanand during her visit to Kunickaa’s home for a fun YouTube series.

In a light-hearted exchange, Farah humorously suggested that it might be time for Kunickaa to find a new boyfriend. This playful comment came after Kunickaa mentioned feeling suffocated by the love she gives to others, a realization sparked by being called a “control freak” by Farah on the reality show Bigg Boss 19.

Kunickaa expressed that once she stopped overly generous behavior, she felt a significant improvement in her well-being. She admitted to breaking down in tears when Farah pointed out her behavior on the show.

“I realized, Farah, that all my life I have put so much love into people that they suffocated. I decided to cut back. I realized you were right. Then I looked back at my relationships, whether with boyfriends or others,” Kunickaa reflected.

Reacting to this revelation, Farah teased, “But now, it’s time to get a new boyfriend.” She also shared her own story, mentioning that she has become much less of a control freak in her personal life. After years of overseeing every detail on film sets, Farah consciously allows her family the freedom to make their own choices. This shift, she noted, has helped her maintain a better balance and reduce stress at home.

“Even I used to be like that, but now, I’ve reduced it. Because on the set, there’s a habit of controlling everyone. So, at home, I leave it. Let go. Sometimes. But I feel, now you’re grown up enough to take your own decisions. And make your own mistakes. Exactly. Yeah. And now, I can’t take stress. Otherwise, you get so spent. You’re only stressed for life,” Farah explained.

  • Manoj Bajpayee hints at writing a book about his unique approach to character acting

Manoj Bajpayee hints at writing a book about his unique approach to character acting

Actor Manoj Bajpayee has consistently showcased his remarkable acting skills with each project he undertakes. At a recent event, he was asked about the secret behind his ability to portray each character with ‘so much love,’ making it seem as though each role was tailor-made for him.

When asked how he manages to make viewers ‘fall in love’ with him as an actor, Manoj shared, “I have been thinking for months that I should probably write a book on my method of approaching characters. I have worked with many different directors, each with their own definition of filmmaking and performance. I spend days and nights reading and rereading the script.”

He elaborated, “I always say that when you have a script you’re going to perform in the next two or three months, that script becomes your bible. I wake up with it, I sleep with it, and I keep going back to it whenever there’s any confusion. I keep flipping through it again and again.” However, he mentioned, “The only thing I don’t do is discuss my process or method with my directors. At the end of the day, directors are only interested in what’s happening in front of the camera, not in the actor’s internal process, and rightly so.”

Manoj also reflected on the sacrifices he made to pursue his acting career, stating, “No doctor ever told me to become an actor. I made that decision myself. I left a comfortable life and my family back home, so I now had to justify every single moment of that decision I made years ago in my village. Every new character becomes a matter of life and death for me.” He added, “There are so many great actors who perform their roles beautifully, so I have no option but to give my best. I don’t have any excuses. This is what I chose to do, and this is what I love doing, so I must do it honestly.”

Over the years, Manoj has delivered numerous hits, proving himself to be an actor par excellence. With notable performances in films like Shool, Satya, Kaun, Zubeidaa, and most recently, The Family Man 3, he continues to exemplify class-acting skills. His co-star Jaideep Ahlawat, an admirer of Manoj’s talent, remarked on his impact in films, stating, “In Raajneeti, when you see Manoj, when he’s on screen, he is standing on the dais in the frame, and audiences’ belief is so intense that they feel that he is sure to kill everyone – there is no doubt about it.”

For those who might not know, Manoj gave one of his finest performances in the political drama Raajneeti, released in 2010 and directed by Prakash Jha. His character, Veerendra Pratap, was a commanding presence, portraying a power-hungry and cunning political heir that brought depth and intensity to the role.

Currently, Manoj is receiving great reviews for his performance in the recently released OTT series, The Family Man. His dedication and passion for his craft continue to resonate with audiences, further solidifying his status as one of the industry’s finest actors.

  • Malkit Singh shares insights on AI’s rising influence in the music industry

Malkit Singh shares insights on AI’s rising influence in the music industry

Veteran Punjabi singer Malkit Singh recently shared his insights on the rising influence of artificial intelligence in the music industry.

    Human Voice vs. Artificial Intelligence

In an exclusive interview, Malkit discussed how technology may continue to advance, but the essence of a real human voice is irreplaceable. He emphasized the magic of live performances, stating that while AI can aid in music creation, the connection between an artist and the audience is profoundly human.

When asked if AI poses a threat to artists, Malkit Singh remarked that although technology will evolve, nothing can replace the human voice. He articulated, “Not really. Technology will evolve, but the voice is God’s gift. AI can create music, but it can’t perform live on stage. When an artist stands in front of an audience, the real voice matters. Music can be taught, instruments can be taught, but the voice is divine.”

    The Shift in Music Consumption

Reflecting on today’s fast-paced digital world, Singh acknowledged that the rapid viral nature of songs makes long-form musical storytelling increasingly challenging. He reminisced about the days of cassettes and CDs, when music had a longer shelf life and artists held a lasting place in listeners’ hearts.

He observed, “Earlier we had cassettes and CDs. Now, everything is digital and fast. People forget the artist within days. But timeless songs remain. We were lucky to experience that golden era; those songs are still loved today.”

    Punjabi Music’s Dominance

Malkit Singh also addressed the growing prominence of Punjabi music in Bollywood. He noted that Punjabi tracks resonate with listeners due to their infectious beats and high energy. The ‘Gur Nalo Ishq Mitha’ singer remarked that even during his performances in Europe, audiences joyfully repeat Punjabi phrases, showcasing the genre’s universal appeal.

He explained, “Punjabi music connects with people instantly because of its beat and energy. Even if you don’t understand the words, you can dance to it. Classical music is beautiful, but it can feel heavy for many listeners. Punjabi songs are simple, catchy, and easy to sing along. Even when I perform for European audiences, they repeat Punjabi phrases joyfully.”

  • Deepshikha Nagpal shares that working with Bhumika Chawla and Arbaaz Khan in Kesar Singh felt like family

Deepshikha Nagpal shares that working with Bhumika Chawla and Arbaaz Khan in Kesar Singh felt like family

Actress Deepshikha Nagpal will be sharing the screen with Bhumika Chawla and Arbaaz Khan in her upcoming film “Kesar Singh.”

    Working with Bhumika Chawla
Reflecting on her experience, Deepshikha described Bhumika as an “absolute sweetheart.” She stated, “It was truly lovely working with both Bhumika and Arbaaz. This was my first film with Bhumika, and she is incredibly warm, grounded, and simple despite having such a remarkable body of work.”

Deepshikha expressed that they connected instantly, adding, “Even off-screen, our bond felt very natural. Our families got along beautifully too — my daughter, her son, and all of us spent a lot of time together, which made the experience feel like one big family.”

    Reuniting with Arbaaz Khan
Discussing her reunion with Arbaaz Khan, she mentioned, “With Arbaaz, I’ve worked earlier as well, although unfortunately, those films didn’t release. So there was already a sense of familiarity and comfort. He is extremely cooperative, professional, and has absolutely no airs.”

    Memorable Moments on Set
Deepshikha recalled a specific moment during the shoot of “Kesar Singh” that left a lasting impression. “There was a bit of scheduling confusion one day, and Arbaaz was informed that I might be running late. Without a second thought, he stood up for me and said he knew I was always punctual and that there must be a genuine reason. Later, it turned out to be a simple mix-up, as I was finishing another scene elsewhere and had to come in later that night.”

On the night of the shoot, she described the pressure she felt as it was already past midnight and she had some heavy lines to deliver in her introduction scene. “Everyone was tired and ready to pack up. Arbaaz noticed this and kept the mood light, even joking that someone should just wake me up and tell me what expression to give, because I’d deliver it anyway. We ended up finishing the scene in a single take. That kind of encouragement and faith from a co-actor makes a huge difference, and it’s something I truly cherish.”
