Television actor Anuj Sachdeva recently experienced a shocking attack in Mumbai from a resident of his own residential complex.
The ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlta Hai’ star shared a video on his Instagram, depicting a brutal confrontation with a fellow resident from his society in Goregaon. In the video, the attacker accuses Anuj, claiming that his dog had bitten him and was heard using abusive language directed at the ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’ actor.
Anuj further revealed that the suspect assaulted his dog after he had pointed out an issue with the man’s improper parking. In the video, Anuj could be heard confronting the attacker, who ominously asked, “Kutte se katwayega?”
The situation escalated until two security guards intervened. As the man was being taken away, he threatened Anuj’s life.
In his latest post, Anuj shared the flat number of his attacker as well. Accompanying the video, he wrote, “I am posting this evidence before this person tries to do any damage to me or my property. He tried hitting my dog and me with a rod for notifying in the society group regarding his car which was parked at the wrong place in the society parking. Harmony Mall residency. Goregaon. This person is from A wing flat 602. Kindly share with people who can take action. I am bleeding from my head.”
On the work front, Anuj recently starred in the web series “Chhal Kapat,” which premiered on ZEE5 in June 2025. In this drama, he played the role of Vikram Shandel alongside an impressive cast that includes Shriya Pilgaonkar, Kamya Ahlawat, Ragini Dwivedi, Tuhina Das, and Yahhve Sharma, among others.
