25 years of DDLJ: Shahrukh and Kajol remade ‘Raj-Simran’, shared a video of memories

Shahrukh and Kajal have again become Raj and Simran after completing 25 years of the film ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’.

‘Dilwale Dulhani Le Jayenge‘, which was included in the most successful and popular films of Bollywood history, was released on 25 October 1995 i.e. 25 years before today. The film did wonders at the box office. The film cost around Rs 4 crore in that period and the film earned 25 times more (102 crores).

Dilwale Dulhani Le Jayenge Raj and Simran i.e. Shahrukh and Kajol have changed their names on their social media accounts after the film completes 25 years. Now Shah Rukh is Raj Malhotra and Kajol is Simran. Also, both have shared a video from their account. In the video, the film’s superhit song ‘Tujhe dekha toh yeh jaana sanam’ is playing and the scenes of the film are going on.

While sharing the video, Kajol wrote, ‘Raj and Simran. 2 people, 1 film, 25 years and Milan Wala Pyar has not stopped yet. I am grateful to all those who have made this film to the present day. Thank you to all fans’. At the same time, Shah Rukh wrote, ‘25 years, I am wholehearted to thank you for loving Raj and Simran so much. It is always a special feel.’

Earlier, it has been reported that the lead cast Shahrukh Khan and Kajol’s bronze statue will be installed at Leicester Square in London to mark 25 years of the film. It will be unveiled next year i.e. 2021. With this, the film will be the first Bollywood film to have a statue in England.
