‘DIFFICULT FOR BROKEN FAMILIES CHILDREN’: KANGAN RANAUT ON IRA KHAN

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan recently took an opportunity on the day of World Mental Health day and shred something very important. The mental health-related issue has been one of the topics on which people are coming up bravely. People are also appreciating and supporting each other for the cause. Actress Kangana Ranaut also comes forward sharing her view on Ira Khan’s issue.

About Ira Khan’s Mental Health

 Ira Khan shared a video of herself where she had confirmed the audience that it been a long time that she is suffering from depression. Here is what she said, ” Hi, I’m depressed. I have been for more than four years now. I’ve been to a doctor and I’m clinically depressed. I’m doing much better now. For over a year now, I wanted to do something for mental health, but I wasn’t sure what to do. So, I have decided to take you on a journey, my journey, and see what happens. Hopefully, we will get to know ourselves better, understand mental illness better.”She has also added these lines, “Let’s start from where I started. What do I have to be depressed about? Who am I to be depressed? I have everything, right?”

Mentioning the video in her tweet, Kangana Ranaut also opened up about her personal experience. The actress, who has recently been featured in the upcoming movie, Thalaivi, stated in the post, “At 16 I was facing physical assault, was single-handedly taking care of my sister who was burnt with acid and also facing media wrath, there can be many reasons for depression but it’s generally difficult for broken families children, the traditional family system is very important.” 

The Cause

The matter of mental health large took a shape after the unfortunate demise of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. People have started opening up sharing their distress on their social handles. The barrier needs to be brought down. More people should come up and join in the cause that might lead to an end a beautiful life. Let us all come forward and talk about it before we lose our loved ones again.
