A report of Mid-Day quoted the makers saying about Ashram second season, “The second part is currently in post-production, and the makers will announce the release date soon. While Baba Nirala’s wrongdoings were not completely explored in the first part, the upcoming edition will delve deeper into his psyche. He will finally be shown as a shrewd and manipulative criminal who is maintaining a facade of a godman. The latest installment, which will open with Adhyayan Suman’s character Tinka Singh performing at a rock concert, will trace how Singh helps Baba increase his following among the masses.” MX Player’s chief content officer confirmed the same.
The web series Ashram is a fictional story based on a harsh reality. It basically tells us that when we give undue importance to someone, he starts taking advantage of us.
The story revolves around Bobby Deol’s character who seems to be a charitable person in the first instance. But as the story progresses we see various shades of him. From start till the end audiences stay glued to their screens. Director Prakash Jha is known for raising social issues and over here too he has raised one and has done a really great job. The story is very gripping and due to this only fans started demanding its second season soon after they completed watching the first season.
