#BoycottMirzapur2 is trending on Twitter over Ali Fazal’s old tweet against CAA- NRC

After this one-year gap Mirzapur season 2 trailer has launched on  October 6 with much more spices and twists. Almost half of India was eager to watch a glance at the great revenge of Guddu Bhaiya.

But in the meantime #BoycottMirzapur2 is trending on Twitter, with almost 35k tweets for and against the series. Most of the people who twitted for boycotting the sequel of Mirzapur showing the reason that – the star cast Ali Fazal performed anti-nation and twitted in December 2019, about the nation-wide protests against CAA and NRC.

People against tweets, accusing star cast Ali Fazal, Vikrant Massey, and co-producer Farhan Akhtar for being not loyal to their country.

On February 24, the huge communal violence took place in various parts of the country for Citizenship Amendment Law, and Northeast Delhi was very much affected. Students of various colleges, universities protested through social media. Actor Ali Fazal twitted one of his dialogues from Mirzapur – ” Protests: Suru Majboori Mein Kiye They, Ab Maja Aa Raha Hai!!!”. The screenshot is hanging around on many sites as a boycott offense.

When the second season of Mirzapur was announced in August this same protest was going on but it didn’t end up like today.

Story Continuation from season 1 to season 2

At the end of Mirzapur Bablu Pandit ( Vikrant Massey) and Sweety ( Shriya Pilgaonkar) was brutally killed by Munna Tripathi ( Divyendu Sharma). The sequel will be the story of revenge for those murders in the plot of Uttarpradesh.

Golu ( Shweta Tripathi ) is seen firing guns and claiming that Mirzapur will be hers. Everyone is aslo excited to watch Kaleen Bhaiya ( Pankaj Tripathi) once again who is exactly at the starting of the trailer saying –  “Jo aaya hai, woh jaayega bhi, bas marzi humari hogi. Gaddi pe chahe hum rahe ya Munna, niyam same hoga.

It included some new faces too – Rasika Duggal, Vijay Verma, Rajesh Tailang, Sheeba Chadha, Priyanshu Painyuli, and Isha Talwar.

Mirzapur 2 will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video from October 23.
