Explaining his thoughts on collaborating with Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth, Kannada Superstar Dr. Shivarajkumar emphasized that he would definitely reach out to Rajinikanth for a worthy role in a Kannada film. However, he clarified that he won’t exploit Rajinikanth’s recent role in the Tamil film ‘Jailer’ for personal gain.

During a media interaction to promote his upcoming Kannada film ’45’, Shivarajkumar was asked whether he would invite Rajinikanth to act in a Kannada project, given that the unit of ‘Jailer’ had made a similar request.

In response, he said, “It cannot be done just like that when one thinks. It (the project) has to shape up really well. When he comes, it must be something very different. That is what I wish for. I shouldn’t simply take advantage of him. Just because I came here and did a role in ‘Jailer’, I shouldn’t call sir. I am seeing him from the time I was a child. I should not take advantage. If there is a worthy role, I will definitely request Rajini sir.”

Produced by Uma Ramesh Reddy and M Ramesh Reddy, with dialogues by Anil Kumar, ’45’ is directed by Arjun Janya. The film is set to release on December 25, marking Janya’s directorial debut.

Alongside Dr. Shiva Rajkumar, the film features actors Raj B. Shetty and Upendra in significant roles, heightening expectations among fans and film enthusiasts.

In an interview, director Arjun Janya shared that the title ’45’ refers to the timeframe in which the story unfolds, inspired by personal experiences. He noted, “I narrated this script to Shivanna, who asked me to direct this film myself. He is my second inspiration.”

When asked about the film’s genre, Janya mentioned it would be tough to categorize it into one. He encouraged the audience’s interpretation, with Raj B. Shetty adding, “There are three elements that come in this story. One is the realistic story of a commoner. This meets the cinematic moment of another character and it ends in a fantasy. But the travel is not jarring and it travels seamlessly.”

The film features cinematography by Satya Hegde and editing by K. M. Prakash. Stunt choreography is handled by Dr. K. Ravivarma, Jolly Bastian, Different Dany, and Chetan D’souza, while dance choreography is by Chinni Prakash and B. Dhananjay.

Actress-singer Lily Allen’s daughters remain in contact with “Stranger Things” star David Harbour, but she chooses to “stay out of” their relationship.

The 40-year-old singer and Harbour parted ways around a year ago. Despite this, she hasn’t interfered in the bond he shares with her children, Ethel, 14, and 12-year-old Marnie, from her first marriage to Sam Cooper. Veteran actress Ramya Krishnan recently experienced a delightful moment as she watched her iconic 1999 film “Padayappa” in a theatre for the first time.

Taking to Instagram, she shared a video from the theatre, expressing her joy and surprise at seeing the Rajinikanth-starrer on the big screen so many years after its release. She wrote: “Finally watched PADAYAPPA in the theater for first time.”

“Padayappa” is a 1999 Indian Tamil-language action drama directed by K. S. Ravikumar. The film features Sivaji Ganesan in his penultimate release, along with Rajinikanth in the titular role. The ensemble cast includes Ramya Krishnan, Soundarya, Lakshmi, Radha Ravi, Nassar, Abbas, Sithara, and Preetha.

The storyline revolves around Padayappa and his family, who are targets of generations-long revenge by his cousin Neelambari, a narcissistic woman humiliated when Padayappa rejected her love proposal in favor of his good-natured home worker, Vasundhara. At the time of its release, “Padayappa” became Tamil cinema’s highest-grossing film, with Ramya’s performance receiving high praise. The film also garnered five Tamil Nadu State Film Awards.

In an exclusive interview, Ahan described shooting at NDA Khadakwasla in Pune as both physically challenging and transformative. He explained, “Shooting at NDA Khadakwasla wasn’t just about capturing authentic visuals – it changed how I approached the entire role. You’re training where real officers train. That environment doesn’t let you fake anything. Your body, your posture, your intensity – it all has to match the authenticity of the location.”

Consistent Routine Across Locations

Ahan’s training regimen remained consistent, regardless of location—be it Pune, Amritsar, Khopoli, or Mumbai. He emphasized the importance of:

• Non-negotiable strength training sessions
• Engaging in sports like football and cricket for agility and cardio endurance
• A strict recovery protocol that included ice baths, steam, sauna, and red light therapy

He noted, “Recovery wasn’t optional – it was as critical as the training itself. When you’re shooting intense combat sequences day after day, your body needs to repair and perform consistently.”

The ‘Tadap’ actor highlighted the unique challenges of shooting at actual military installations. He mentioned, “You’re dealing with actual terrain, weather, and the physical demands of tactical sequences. The strength training and cardio endurance from sports – it all comes together when you’re doing combat sequences in 40-degree heat or operating in tactical gear for 12-hour shoot days.”

Actress Shamita Shetty is reflecting on her beloved “angle,” her father, on what would have been his 85th birthday.

Sharing her emotions on Instagram, the ‘Mohabbatein’ star posted several throwback photos with her dad. In her heartfelt message, she wrote, “Happy Birthday my angel my Daddy (red heart, hug and ribbon emojis) Miss u (red heart emoji) (sic).”

The main photo featured Shamita beaming as she posed beside her father, accompanied by several images of her and her elder sister, Shilpa Shetty, with him. The post also included some nostalgic pictures of their parents.

Actor Vijay Deverakonda has responded to a delightful reel shared by a Tamil fan who undertook a journey to Diskit in Ladakh Valley, aiming to replicate an iconic picture from his film ‘Dear Comrade.’

Fan’s Journey to Diskit

On his social media, Vijay posted the reel, expressing: “Time is passing, the milestone slowly eroding. But we seem to have a ritual that is ours. One day, I’ll stop by again. Till then to all my bikers – stay safe. Lots of love.”

The entertaining reel features the fan and a friend riding all the way to Ladakh, searching for a milestone that indicates it is 12 kilometers to Diskit.

About ‘Dear Comrade’

For those unfamiliar, ‘Dear Comrade’ is a sports romantic drama that addresses the issue of sexual harassment in sports. Directed by Bharat Kamma, the film stars Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles. Rashmika portrays a female cricketer, and the cast also includes actors like Shruthi Ramachandran and Charu Haasan. The music was composed by Justin Prabhakaran and cinematography was handled by Sujith Sarang.

As his films Trimurti and Bhagam Bhag celebrated significant anniversaries of 30 and 19 years respectively, actor Jackie Shroff marked the occasion in his unique style on social media.
