Alia’s latest Instagram picture showcases her dressed as a fairy godmother in a charming white dress, complete with a wand in hand, while Ranbir playfully holds little Raha in the air. Her heartfelt wish for their daughter read, “& up you go love.. happy 2026 (sic).”

In this delightful snapshot from their New Year getaway, all three family members are twinning in white, radiating happiness.

Netizens reacted warmly to the post, leaving loving comments such as “What a happy family,” “Heart is so full, such a beautiful frame,” and “Pics like these make me forget every other complaint I keep having.”

The couple welcomed the New Year with their little one on a vacation to an undisclosed location. Just last week, the trio was spotted at Mumbai airport, posing for photos before departing for their holiday. Alia and Ranbir chose comfortable athleisure for their off-duty look.

It’s well-known that the lovebirds take a holiday each year during this festive time.

On the professional front, Alia and Ranbir are set to share screen space in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s highly anticipated love saga “Love & War,” which also stars Vicky Kaushal. The film is expected to revolve around a dramatic wartime love triangle, highlighting the conflict between duty and desire.

  • Director M Rajesh announces Jiiva’s comedy film titled ‘Jolliya Irrundha Oruthan’ in quirky reveal.

Director M Rajesh announces Jiiva’s comedy film titled ‘Jolliya Irrundha Oruthan’ in quirky reveal.

Well-known director M Rajesh’s upcoming comedy entertainer, featuring actor Jiiva in the lead role, has been titled “Jolliya Irrundha Oruthan,” as announced by the makers.

Celebrities from the Tamil film industry, including Santhanam, Arya, Vishal, and producer Kalaipuli S Thanu, unveiled the film’s title during actor Jiiva’s birthday celebrations.

A humorous title announcement video was also released on this occasion. In the promo, director M Rajesh, who is celebrated for hits like “Siva Manasulla Sakthi,” “Boss Engira Baskaran,” and “Oru Kal Oru Kannadi,” along with Jiiva, is seen dressed as sheikhs while waiting for music director Yuvan Shankar Raja at a hotel in Dubai.

Upon Yuvan Shankar Raja’s arrival, the duo greets him. Yuvan, surprised by their attire, inquires about their outfits. Director Rajesh explains, “The producer told us that you were in Dubai and asked us to come in the same vibe and get songs from you for our film.”

Yuvan humorously responds, “If you are dressed like this, there won’t be songs, only laughter.” He suggests they change their clothes, but the duo reveals they don’t have any other attire.

Despite this, Yuvan decides to continue the discussion about the film and asks, “Many are wondering if this is the second part of ‘Siva Manasulla Sakthi’?” Rajesh clarifies, “This is not SMS 2. But it will have the same vibe. You can even say it is from the same universe.”

Yuvan then requests Rajesh to narrate the film’s story, to which Rajesh describes it as a love story filled with puns. He explains that it tells how a happy-go-lucky guy is worn down by a relationship, similar to how a washing machine cleans and dries a piece of cloth.

When Yuvan asks for the title, they reveal, “Jolliya Irrundha Oruthan.” As Yuvan attempts to create an acronym from the title, the hero and director plead with him, fearing it could lead to copyright issues.

Curious about the timeline, Yuvan questions how long it took to compose the songs for “Siva Manasulla Sakthi.” Rajesh mentions it took three days, to which Yuvan confidently replies, “We will compose all the songs of this film in two days.”

Excited, Rajesh asks when Yuvan will start working on the music. Yuvan responds, “I will call and let you know when those two days will come.” While the phone does ring, it isn’t Yuvan calling; it’s the rental service for the Sheikh costumes.

Rajesh remarks, “Let us go now, otherwise the producer might add this cost to the budget of the film,” as they rush to leave.

The film marks Jiiva’s 47th project, produced by Malik Streams. Sources indicate that “Jolliya Irrundha Oruthan” will be a refreshing entertainer blending love, heartbreak, and humor.

Cinematography will be handled by M Sukumar, with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Editing will be by Ashish Joseph, and art direction will be led by Hasini Pavithra.

  • Gautami Tadimalla clarifies her absence from the Censor Board amid U/A certificate delay for ‘Jana Nayagan’

Gautami Tadimalla clarifies her absence from the Censor Board amid U/A certificate delay for ‘Jana Nayagan’

Responding to a fan’s inquiry about the delay in issuing a U/A certificate for Vijay’s latest film, ‘Jana Nayagan’, actress Gautami Tadimalla clarified that she is not part of the Censor Board. She advised the fan to direct any queries to the relevant ministry.

After the makers of director H Vinoth’s ‘Jana Nayagan’ released the film’s trailer on Saturday, social media buzzed with rumors. It was reported that Censor Board officials had viewed the film days earlier and recommended a U/A certificate, yet the makers had not received the official censor certificate.

A fan tweeted Gautami, suggesting she was still a member of the Censor Board and asked, “You are very much in the Censor Board Committee and kindly explain why there is so much delay in issuing the UA certificate for Jana Nayagan?” The fan also referenced an AI app Grok, which stated she was a member of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

In response, Gautami tweeted, “I also am wondering why I am being referred to in this context. I am not a part of the CBFC and have not been asked to head any viewing committees for certifying any film since October 2023. I have not received any requests for participation in any context for any film. If you have any queries, you should address them to the concerned Ministry. And thank you for letting me know that my name is still being used in this manner. I wish ‘Jana Nayagan’ all the best for a successful release.”

For those unaware, ‘Jana Nayagan’, featuring Vijay in the lead role, is an upcoming action entertainer by director H Vinoth, creating significant anticipation as it marks the leading actor’s last film. Expectations soared following the release of the trailer.

The trailer opens with a notorious thug asking another about someone named Thalapathy Vetri Kondan. Alarmed, the second thug cautions, “Hope you haven’t tried your tricks with him because you would have heard of many killers but have you heard of someone setting a record in it? That is ‘Thalapathy’ for you. Do not touch him. He will slice you up.”

Action sequences unfold as the film progresses. A young child asks Vijay, “You bashed an entire battalion. Are you Superman?” He replies, “I am just an ordinary man, baby, but I have heard people say that whatever I do is super.”

The trailer introduces Mamitha Baiju as Vijay’s daughter Viji. “Girls should not be scared. She must be like a tigress,” he tells her while trying to persuade her to sign up for the army. Visuals of Viji experiencing fear and pain follow, with Thalapathy on the hunt for the person who harassed her.

Bobby Deol appears as the antagonist, boasting that he plans to make India submit to him in just 30 days. His scheme, dubbed OM, is aimed at annihilation.

Throughout the trailer, Vijay makes strong political statements, declaring, “Be it anybody who tells me, ‘I will close your chapter’, ‘I will cause disgrace to befall you’, I have no intention of turning back.” It concludes with a powerful scene of him chastising politicdigihunt: “Instead of entering politics to serve the people selflessly, you barge into politics to loot and kill innocent lives.”

With growing interest, ‘Jana Nayagan’ is set to release worldwide on January 9.
