  • Chef Kunal Kapur Returns to MasterChef India, Talks Confusion Over Social Media Food Trends

Chef Kunal Kapur Returns to MasterChef India, Talks Confusion Over Social Media Food Trends

Renowned chef Kunal Kapur is making his comeback in the new season of “MasterChef India.” He expresses concern that the frenzy surrounding social media food trends often confuses more than it clarifies.

    Social Media and Food Confusion

Kunal points out that the rapid consumption of social media can create misunderstandings, especially regarding healthy and unhealthy snacking. He stated, “What has happened is that everyone is consuming social media at a very rapid pace and continuously.”

He elaborated on the prevalence of food discussions online, stating, “Food is one of those verticals that constantly appears on your social media feed, with people claiming that certain foods are healthy, others are not, that a particular food suits you, or that a specific ingredient is a ‘superfood.’ Some of these claims are true, while others cannot really be vouched for.”

    Health Beyond Eating

For Kunal, health transcends mere dietary choices. He emphasized, “But there is a simple principle you need to understand: health is not just a function of what you eat; it also depends on how you eat, how you cook your food, when you eat it, and in what quantity.”

He noted that different body types may require different dietary approaches, explaining, “Additionally, your body type may be better suited for certain dishes, and eating the same food as someone with a different body type may not be ideal.”

    Redefining Unhealthy Foods

The chef insists that no food should be inherently labeled as unhealthy. “To elaborate further, no food is inherently unhealthy. We often label something ‘unhealthy’ just because it contains a lot of ghee or butter—but every food provides nutrition; that is its purpose.”

He attributes unhealthy eating habits to lifestyle choices, stating, “What makes food unhealthy is our lifestyle choices. If we have a sedentary lifestyle, don’t move much, and don’t burn calories, then calorie-dense foods may not be good for us.”

    Encouragement to Experiment

Kunal encourages individuals to try out recipes they encounter online but advises them to assess what works best for them. “So, unless you have a specific body condition that restricts certain foods, all foods can be healthy. You just need to remember this equation: you have to burn what you eat, and that is key to healthy living.”

He urges followers to share their experiences, saying, “Try out what you see on social media, and then share your reaction in the comments on whether it was right or wrong for others to follow.”

“MasterChef India” airs on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony Liv.

Babil Khan recalls sweet memories with late father Irrfan, sharing moments of joy and laughter.

Actor Babil Khan recently shared some heartfelt memories of his late father, Irrfan Khan, reminiscing about their lighter everyday moments. He fondly recalled how Irrfan would often jump on him while saying, “sofa mode activated.”

    Nostalgic Photos on Instagram

Babil took to Instagram, sharing two touching images.

    • The first photograph captures a young Babil lying relaxed on the back of his father, Irrfan Khan. Both appear comfortable on a striped floor mat, surrounded by simple pillows and everyday household items.

    • The second image shows Irrfan and Babil standing face-to-face outdoors at night, with streetlights and a softly blurred background adding a dramatic effect.

For the caption, Babil wrote: “Pictures of you. Pictures of me. (I used to say ‘sofa mode activated’ before I jumped on him and fell asleep on his back).”

    Returning to Social Media

Last year, Babil had also shared a video (which he later deleted) where he expressed feelings of alienation in the film industry, visibly upset and in tears. He mentioned various industry names including Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Arjun Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal, Adarsh Gourav, and even Arijit Singh.

    Key Tips for Kettlebell Swings

Bhagyashree emphasizes the importance of mindful breathing to maximize the workout’s benefits. She explains that the kettlebell’s weight should not be borne by the arms; instead, it should be propelled by the movement of the hip thrust.

“Kettlebell swings are a strengthening exercise for your glutes and hamstrings. It also targets your core. Correct breathing while you do the hip thrust is a must. Your arms do not take the weight; it is the dynamic movement of the hip thrusts that helps you to swing the kettlebell,” she captioned her post.

The 56-year-old actress also shared additional tips for optimizing kettlebell swings:

    • Full-body power move: strength + cardio
    • Drive from the hips: arms only guide, they don’t lift
    • Targets the glutes, hamstrings, and back

  • Arjun Rampal Celebrates “Dhurandhar” Success with Friends in Goa, Enjoys a Fun Dinner Night Out

Arjun Rampal Celebrates “Dhurandhar” Success with Friends in Goa, Enjoys a Fun Dinner Night Out

Actor Arjun Rampal made quite a splash with his portrayal of Major Iqbal in Aditya Dhar’s much-appreciated “Dhurandhar.”

Now enjoying the success of his latest release, Rampal chose to experience the spy thriller with some friends in Goa. The evening was capped off with a delightful dinner, creating a wholesome experience.

“Went with my GG’s (Goa Gangster’s) to watch #Dhurandhar A complete blast. Dinner post that at the charming #Tertullia with great hospitality, thank u for the delicious desserts. You spoilt us. #goavibes #dhurandhar #panaji,” he shared in an Instagram post.

Rampal also posted snippets from the fun get-together with his gang on social media, featuring group selfies from the cinema and glimpses of their dinner. Notably, even the dessert plate was creatively presented, with “Dhurandhar” written on it in chocolate.

For those unaware, Rampal was a model before making his foray into acting. In an exclusive conversation, he opened up about the challenges of transitioning from modelling to acting.

“When I transitioned from modelling to acting, it wasn’t smooth at all. Modelling trains you in a very specific environment; the camera sounds familiar, the commands are the same, and you condition yourself to react in a particular way,” he explained.

Reflecting on his first experience watching his rushes, he noted, “I remember watching my rushes for the first time from Moksha and feeling completely stiff. Acting demands the opposite of modelling; you have to forget the camera entirely and become the character. That shift took time. I’m grateful that people believed in me, gave me opportunities, and allowed me the space to grow. Those repeated chances made all the difference.”

Rampal made his acting debut with Rajiv Rai’s romantic film “Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat” in 2001 and has since been part of several noteworthy projects.

  • George Clooney recalls his first kiss at 11 in a Kentucky church while hiding from friends.

George Clooney recalls his first kiss at 11 in a Kentucky church while hiding from friends.

Hollywood star George Clooney has shared a nostalgic memory of his first kiss, which took place when he was just 11 years old in the back of a church in his hometown of Augusta, Kentucky.

He fondly recalled the moment, saying he and the girl were “hiding” from their friends who were waiting outside, playfully urging them to “Kiss her! Kiss her!” Clooney said, “(I had my first kiss) in the back of a church in my hometown of Augusta, Kentucky. I was 11. The relationship didn’t last — 11-year-olds move on pretty quickly,” he told W magazine.

In the interview, the actor reflected on a challenging time in his career when he feared it might end before it had really begun. He recounted an argument with an executive producer that left him questioning his future in Hollywood. Clooney explained, “About 10 years in, I got in an argument with an executive producer. I was the third or fourth banana on a TV show, and I had to leave. I thought that was the end of my career. I wasn’t in a position of power, but I wasn’t going to be spoken to the way that I was. I told him to knock it off. He yelled at me. I yelled back.”

He recounted the uncertainty of whether he was fired or if he quit, but emphasized that someone he had previously helped was pivotal in reviving his career. “Someone who I had helped out years earlier read that I’d been fired. He brought me in for an audition and gave me a pilot. That kept me in town,” Clooney shared.

Clooney expressed his pet peeves, citing “selfishness” and “lack of integrity” as qualities he dislikes the most in people. “Those are things that I dislike the most in mankind when I see it,” he stated.

In his upcoming film, he portrays a movie star named Jay Kelly, but he clarified that the character’s experiences are quite different from his own. “It’s funny, because I get why people go, ‘Isn’t this a little close to home?’ It didn’t feel that way to me because the guy has made such mistakes in his life. He’s isolated from his family, which I’m not. He has only friends that he pays, which I haven’t. I should maybe start paying my friends, but I haven’t yet done that. It didn’t feel like me, so it was easy to remove myself and just play a character,” Clooney explained.

Sydney Sweeney recalls an imaginary friend who scared her mom after learning he had died years prior.

Actress Sydney Sweeney opened up about her childhood experiences, revealing that she had an imaginary friend who ended up being a bit of a ghostly surprise for her mother.

Imaginary Friend Turns Out to Be a Ghost

In an interview with W magazine, Sweeney shared, “I think I’ve seen a ghost. When I was little, I used to have an imaginary friend. He would be on the playground at preschool. I would tell my mom about him. It turns out that he was someone who passed away before I was born! It creeped my mom out.”

    Dreams and Their Control

The actress also discussed her changing relationship with dreams, stating that she used to have vivid dreams and could control them.

“Recently, no. I don’t even know if I’m dreaming anymore. I used to be a really vivid dreamer. I could lie there and orchestrate all the dreams that I wanted to have that night. In the last year or two, I haven’t really been able to dream,” she explained.

    Facing Fears Head-On

Sweeney is unafraid to confront her fears. “There are a lot of things that scare me, but that doesn’t stop me. Usually, if something scares me, then I’m going to do it. I have a fear of heights, but I jumped out of a plane and went skydiving. I’ll scream the whole way, but then I’ll want to do it again.”

    Adventurous Streak and Scars

Her adventurous spirit has given her some notable scars. When asked about them, she recounted, “I have a scar next to my eye. I got it when I was 10. She also shared stories about other injuries: “I tore my MCL dirt-bike riding, and the scar just never went away. Then I have a keloid scar. I got bit in Australia when I was filming the movie Eden, and I don’t know what I got bitten by. It just turned into this crazy crater; then it scarred.”
