Irrfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor & Sushant Singh Rajput is going to get tribute at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne

2020 is a terrible dream for many people throughout the world. In India, we faced huge loss too. This year we lost many of ours. Three very famous and favorite faces also left us. Our Bollywood stars Irrfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor, and Sushant Singh Rajput. For giving them honor and their deserving respect, the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne(IFFM) is going to give them tribute for their lifetime work. As a part of IFFM’s tribute section, the festival will be screening Irrfan’s ‘Song of Scorpion’, Rishi Kapoor’s ‘102 Not Out’, and Sushant’s ‘ Kedarnath’ this year.

According to the report of the Hindustan Times, Mitu Bhowmick Lange of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, said, “Artistes live on through their legacy. These were some fine men who did some incredible movies that resonated with everyone. It was important for us to celebrate their memory. We handpicked some great films for our audience so that we relive a little bit of their lives with them. Their loss to the film industry is irrevocable but the magic of their movies will continue to entertain generations hereafter”.

Irrfan Khan

Irrfan Khan passed away on April 29 after battling with neuroendocrine tumor. His last film released right after his death. ‘Angreji Medium’, but for the lockdown, it didn’t get enough response. In his film ‘Song of Scorpion’ by Anup Singh he played a great role too, his co-star was Golshifteh Farahani.

Rishi Kapoor

Rishi Kapoor passed away the next day, on April 30 after battling cancer. His last film was with Imran Hashmi, “The Body”. On the film ‘102 Not out’ Bigg B Amitabh Bacchan starred with him, and it was a great story of humor with intense comedy.

Sushant Singh Rajput

Sushant Singh Rajput found dead on June 14 at his residence. The CBI is currently investigating his death case. His last film was “Dil Bechara” which also released after he passed away. It was released on OTT but while the cinema halls are opened, it had premier on halls as well. His film ‘ Kedarnath’ was a great script with amazing acting. Sara Ali Khan shared the screen with him and it was her debut too.

These three jewel were very important for Indian Bollywood Industry. So they deserve all the tributes, and Indian authority is trying hard for giving them what’s their.
