Varun Dhawan upcoming movies: Shoot is starting from November 2020

This October cinema halls are opened to all with all kinds of precautions for COVID-19. The filmmakers are as well gearing up for shooting and movie release. Bollywood’s handsome hunk Varun Dhawan is running for 4 upcoming movies after lockdown.

Jug Jug Jiyo

From mid-November starting with a situational comedy also featuring Anil Kapoor and Neetu Singh in pivotal roles. It is Good Newwz director Raj Mehta’s next, which romantic story will be filmed where Varun is pairing with Kiara Advani. Varun is a NRI in this film so some abroad clips will also be there.  According to a source, “The film is tentatively titled Jug Jug Jiyo and is a dramedy that revolves around the lives of two couples of different generations, played by Varun and Kiara, Anil and Neetu. The situational comedy, spun around a North Indian family promises to be a riot, with the older couple’s strained relationship bringing lots of laughs. ” This will be shoot on live locations in Mumbai and Chandigarh.

Bhediya

Varun will begin his new year with Stree director Amar Kaushik’s horror-comedy, titled Bhediya. It is said, “It’s diametrically opposite to what Amar did in Stree. This one is more like a dark monster comedy. The shoot will commence early next year in Mumbai. Not just Varun, but even his filmmaker father, David Dhawan, loves the subject.” After Stree Shraddha Kapoor will also be in this film co-starring Varun.

Sanki

After that, his next work will be with Sajid Nadiadwala for Sanki. This film carries some information too, “It’s an unabashed commercial entertainer with action, drama, and comedy. Varun will try his hand at playing a larger-than-life action hero in this one. The film begins in mid-2021, and is currently being scripted,”. The writer of this Film is Rajat Arora.

Ekkis

After all his rom-com series he will be soon starting his shoots for ‘Ekkis’, Arun Kheterpal’s biopic by Sriram Raghavan. This film was scheduled for May but the pandemic postponed it too. Sources said,  “Ekkis is a period war film which requires multiple people on the set, with real action scenes set against tanks, crowds, and guns. They don’t want to risk by shooting a film of that scale in the middle of a pandemic and hence, Varun has decided to get a line up in a place that will be devoid of big crowd scenes.”

The new year will be a year where Varun Dhawan will surely occur the screens many times along with many other good films.
