Karnataka court orders a case against Kangana Ranaut

The Manikarnika actress Kangana Ranaut seems to be in trouble again with her tweet on farm laws. Last month she tweeted about the Sushant Singh case mystery, Mumbai police inefficiency, and on Bollywood drug mafias. All these tweets received mixed reactions from people. It is said that due to her tweets only the Mumbai government has purposefully broken her office to teach her a lesson. She is a person who is known for speaking fearlessly on matters concerning herself or society at large. This time too she came forward to speak on farm laws. In her tweet, she said, “People who spread misinformation and rumors about CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act) that caused riots are the same people who are now spreading misinformation about Farmer’s bill and causing terror in the nation, they are terrorists.”

This tweet saw mixed reactions from the public. Some were backing her tweet while some were criticizing her. Nonetheless, the actress did not delete her tweet. Over 50 people were killed in riots that happened in Delhi as the outcome of CAA.

This tweet was not taken in a good manner by a lawyer so on his complaint the Karnataka Court ordered an FIR against Kangana Ranaut over her tweet which was posted on 21 September on her official handle in which she blasted over the protests done by people against the Centre’s farm laws.

“The office is hereby directed to issue intimation to the circle police inspector of Kyathasandra police station along with (a) photostat copy of the complaint about the report,” the court-ordered.
