‘The Raja Saab’ First Look: Riddhi Kumar Shines as Anitha in Prabhas’s Horror Thriller!

The makers of director Maruthi’s much-anticipated horror thriller, ‘The Raja Saab,’ featuring actor Prabhas in the lead role, have unveiled the first look poster of actress Riddhi Kumar. She plays a character named Anitha in the film.

Introducing Anitha

People Media Factory, the production house behind the film, shared on social media, “Meet ANITHA from the world of #TheRajaSaab. A presence you naturally gravitate towards.”

This revelation has generated massive interest among fans and film enthusiasts. The spine-chilling trailer previously released by the makers has further added to the excitement surrounding the project.

Trailer Highlights

The trailer opens with Prabhas being hypnotized by an expert to uncover his past. As he journeys back in time, he feels an unsettling presence lurking in the dark and suddenly wakes from his trance. The film promises not only spine-tingling horror but also a good dose of humor.

One memorable sequence features a spirit confronting Prabhas, who greets it as his granddad and offers to introduce it to his friends. Confused, VTV Ganesh questions why an introduction is necessary, to which Prabhas quips, “Then, what are you waiting for? Run!”

A Blend of Genres

The movie appears to blend romance, action, humor, and horror seamlessly. The trailer suggests that viewers can expect engaging action sequences. Sanjay Dutt’s character is introduced through a voiceover stating, “He is not some street magician who knows a few spells. He’s an exorcist, a hypnotist, and a psychiatrist. He’s playing with our brains.”

In another striking scene, we witness Prabhas in a demonic avatar, confidently stating, “What’s your problem? Am I an ant to sting you when you reach into the anthill? I’m the demon,” all while stylishly smoking a cigar, seated upside down on a throne suspended from the ceiling.

Sky-high Expectations

‘The Raja Saab’ has raised expectations as Prabhas steps into uncharted territory with this film, marking his first full-fledged horror entertainer.

With cinematography by Karthik Palani and music by Thaman S, the film is slated for release on January 9, 2026.

The captivating cast includes Malavika Mohanan and Nidhhi Agerwal, alongside Riddhi Kumar, all set to bring charm, elegance, and a fresh perspective to the eerie yet vibrant world of ‘The Raja Saab.’
