Smriti Irani Shares Glimpses of Her Devotional Visits to Somnath Temple with Husband Zubin Irani

Actress-turned-politician Smriti Irani recently shared a collection of photos from her visits to the revered Somnath temple alongside her husband, Zubin Irani.

In a heartfelt post on her social media account, she provided insight into the mythological significance of Somnath. She wrote, “Somnath, the holy land of Trilokyanath Mahadev, where eternal and unbroken faith has overcome every attack, every obstacle in the past thousands of years.”

Smriti emphasized the importance of the site, stating, “This earth is not just a pilgrimage, but a living symbol of self-esteem, courage and cultural unity.” She continued, “Sharing some glimpses of those memories that I have had the privilege of visiting Somnath Dada over the past years on this holy land, the symbol of the soul of India. #SomnathSwabhimanParv.”

The photographs depict Smriti and Zubin as they offer prayers, with one striking image capturing Smriti in a pink saree against the backdrop of the temple.

On December 24, 2025, Smriti was on another sacred journey, this time to Tirupati Balaji. She shared a photo standing before the divine statue in the temple, hands folded in prayer, captioning it, “At the feet of Tirupati Balaji #govindagovinda.” During this visit, Smriti donned a traditional red saree.

On the professional front, Smriti Irani has made a mark as Tulsi in the reprised version of the iconic 2000 show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Since its premiere in June this year, the show has garnered positive feedback from both critics and audiences, consistently topping the charts in the Hindi GEC space.
