Saiyami and Gulshan have a history of collaboration, and this upcoming project marks their third time working together.
On her professional front, Saiyami has just wrapped up shooting for “Haiwaan,” which features Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan. Directed by Priyadarshan, the film also stars Sharib Hashmi and was filmed in picturesque locations like Kochi, Ooty, and Mumbai. The project began in August and marks the reunion of Akshay and Saif after 18 years.
Prior to this, she appeared in “Jaat,” directed by Gopichand Malineni, which includes actors like Sunny Deol, Randeep Hooda, Regena Cassandra, and Vineet Kumar Singh in pivotal roles, along with Ramya Krishnan, Jagapathi Babu, Prashant Bajaj, Zarina Wahab, P. On the other hand, Gulshan is well-known for his roles in films like “Shaitan,” “Hate Story,” and “Hunterrr,” along with web series such as “Afsos,” “Duranga,” “Dahaad,” “Guns & Gulaabs,” and “Bad Cop.” His latest project, “Perfect Family,” directed by Sachin Pathak, features Manoj Pahwa, Seema Pahwa, Girija Oak, and Neha Dhupia. Released on the Jar Series YouTube channel on November 27, the series tackles the stigma around therapy in India with a comedic angle, focusing on a not-so-perfect family forced into therapy due to a situation involving their young daughter, leading to ensuing chaos.
