As 2025 approaches its end, actress Rasha Thadani reflects on her debut year with Azaad, expressing her fondness for the song “Birangay” from the period drama.
The actress shared a video on Instagram featuring clips from the song’s shoot, which was sung by Amit Trivedi, Amitabh Bhattacharya, and Meenal Jain. Rasha, daughter of renowned actress Raveena Tandon, captioned the post: “BIRANGAY- the first song I ever shot, my favourite song. The most special time, with the most special people. In my heart forever.”
About Azaad
Azaad is directed by Abhishek Kapoor and features a stellar cast including Ajay Devgn and Diana Penty alongside newcomers Aaman Devgan and Rasha Thadani. Set in 1920s India, the film narrates the tale of a young stable boy who forms a bond with a spirited horse. Rasha is also set to make her mark in Tollywood with her upcoming film directed by Ajay Bhupathi, tentatively titled “#AB4.” The announcement was made on November 17, accompanied by a poster showcasing Rasha in a black sleeveless top and blue denim, striking a bold pose against a motorcycle.
Presented by Ashwin Dutt, “#AB4” is produced by Gemini Kiran under the banner of Chandamama Kathalu Pictures. Sharing her excitement on her new cinematic journey, Rasha posted: “New beginnings, endless gratitude! Mee andariki prema tho, I’m stepping into Telugu cinema.
