Prabhas Praises Zarina Wahab’s Performance in “Raja Saab” at Pre-Release Event, Calls Her the Hero

Prabhas recently shared his experience working alongside veteran actress Zarina Wahab in the upcoming film “Raja Saab.” During the pre-release event of Maruthi’s eagerly anticipated horror comedy, Prabhas disclosed that while dubbing for the movie, he often found himself mesmerized by Zarina’s remarkable performances, to the point of forgetting his own scenes.

Zarina Wahab: The Real Hero

He described Zarina as the true hero of “Raja Saab,” stating, “This is a story of a grandmother and grandson. Zarina Wahab garu played my grandmother in this film. While she was dubbing, I forgot my own scenes and kept watching her scenes. I became a fan of her acting. Along with me, Zarina garu is also the hero of ‘Raja Saab’.”

Co-stars Shine On Screen

Talking about his fellow cast members, Prabhas mentioned that Sanjay Dutt’s close-up shots are so captivating that he commands the entire scene. He also complimented the three leading ladies: “Riddhi, Malavika, and Nidhhi are three beautiful heroines, and they will impress you with their performances and screen presence,” he added.

The Vision Behind ‘Raja Saab’

Prabhas revealed that his initial conversation with filmmaker Maruthi revolved around the goal of creating a compelling entertainer. He emphasized that “Raja Saab” is the result of three years of intense hard work from Maruthi. “The stress and responsibility of ‘Raja Saab’ brought tears to Maruthi garu’s eyes. When I first met Maruthi garu, I told him that all films are becoming action-oriented and that we should give our fans a good entertaining movie. With the horror-comedy genre, we prepared this project,” he explained.

Exceptional Writing

Further praising Maruthi’s skills, Prabhas said, “When it came to the climax, I became a fan of Maruthi garu’s writing. I wondered whether he wrote it with a pen or a machine gun. Such a climax has not come even in horror-comedy films.”
