Actor Paras Chhabra engaged in an emotional yet realistic conversation with Rashami Desai on her podcast, Rashami Ke Dil Se Dil Tak, discussing his evolving views on saving money for the future. The tragic losses of his Bigg Boss 13 co-stars deeply influenced his perspective.
Living in the Moment
During the podcast, Paras reflected on his childhood belief in saving diligently. However, the sudden and untimely deaths of his friends from Bigg Boss 13 led him to reconsider this mindset.
“Life is unpredictable,” said Paras. He pointed out the harsh reality of losing two friends from their season, highlighting how life can change in an instant. “We don’t know who’s going to live until when. I feel like just living on! If you want to buy something or do something your heart desires, irrespective of cost, just buy it; just do it.”
A Saver at Heart
Paras also spoke about his mother, who is a diligent saver. “My mom is the saver in our house. She even chooses to walk instead of taking a 10-rupee rickshaw sometimes,” he shared. “That’s how mothers are — they save quietly, care deeply, and always think ahead.”

“I still do save money. I don’t ask for much, and I am not someone who spends impulsively,” Arti mentioned. She enjoys shopping but prefers to do so during sales, stating, “I can’t bring myself to buy clothes at full price. Financial security matters more to me than momentary indulgence.”
Arti added, “I have seen how unpredictable life can be. No matter how limited your savings may be, things can change anytime. It’s always better to be prepared for the future. I constantly remind my husband, Deepak, to save money. You must take the journey steadily and move forward with caution, not carelessness.”
Remembering Lost Friends
Paras Chhabra, Arti Singh, and Rashami Desai were part of the memorable Bigg Boss 13 season, which also included the late Sidharth Shukla, the season’s winner, and actress Shefali Jariwala. Sidharth tragically passed away in September 2021 due to a heart attack, while Shefali passed away in June this year. Their untimely departures, both in their early 40s, left a profound impact on their fans and the nation.
