As we welcome 2026, ace designer Masaba Gupta has expressed her wish for all women to embrace fearlessness this year.
She revealed that the past year transformed her into a completely new person, a change that she finds both terrifying and exhilarating. Reflecting on her journey, Masaba shared on Instagram, “I’ll tell you what this year taught me – that I am no longer who I used to be. And that is terrifying .. but it’s great news. It’s nice to shed your skin every once in a while.”
In a heartwarming post, Masaba shared a photo of her daughter Matara having fun at the beach. Another image captured the little one enjoying the sea alongside her father, Satyadeep Mishra.
Masaba expressed her joy in seeing her daughter grow into a cheerful and fearless individual. “Nothing makes me happier than watching my daughter running into the waves happily & fearlessly. I guess I wish for all women to be fearless…that is our core and that will dictate what the world order will be. Happy New Year :),” she added.
Masaba tied the knot with actor Satyadeep Mishra in 2023, and the couple welcomed their first child, daughter Matara, in October 2024. The designer often shares glimpses of her playtime with Matara on social media.
On November 2, her mother, veteran Bollywood actress Neena Gupta, celebrated Masaba’s birthday by posting an adorable video of herself lovingly teaching her granddaughter to chant Om. The clip showed Neena sitting on the bed with Matara, who, in a playful mood, referred to her grandmother as “Neena.”
