Exactly two months after their firstborn child arrived, Bollywood couple Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal have revealed the name of their baby boy.
Katrina and Vicky have chosen to name their son Vihaan Kaushal. They shared this joyful announcement in a heartfelt joint post, featuring an adorable picture of little Vihaan’s hand resting on theirs.
In their social media post, they expressed: “Our Ray of Light… Vihaan Kaushal… Prayers are answered… Life is beautiful… Our world is changed in an instant… Gratitude beyond words (sic).”
Following the announcement, warm wishes began flooding in for little Vihaan. Actress Parineeti Chopra, recently a new mom herself, commented, “Little buddy!” complemented by a blue heart emoji.
Renowned filmmaker Karan Johar reshared their post on his Instagram Stories, congratulating them and sending his love: “Congratulations… all my love and blessings to Vihaan… @katrinaKaif @vickykaushal09.”
Other celebrities, including Dia Mirza, Bhumi Pednekar, and Katrina’s sister Isabelle Kaif, also reacted to the news with red heart emojis.
Katrina’s brother-in-law Sunny Kaushal elaborated on the name Vihaan, resharing the announcement and describing it as “The first ray of light.”
Interestingly, Vihaan was also the name of Vicky’s character in the 2019 blockbuster “Uri: The Surgical Strike,” where he portrayed Major Vihaan Singh Shergill.
Katrina and Vicky embraced parenthood on November 7, 2025. They joyfully shared the news on social media, stating, “Our bundle of joy has arrived. With immense love and gratitude, we welcome our baby boy. 7th November, 2025. Katrina & Vicky.” Their caption was simply, “Blessed. Om (sic).”
The couple tied the knot in 2021 after dating for a while, in a private ceremony held in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan.
