She shared an unseen picture taken just moments after the birth of her first child, Taimur Ali Khan, in 2016. The heartwarming photograph features her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan, holding their newborn son in his arms inside the hospital.
Accompanying the post, Kareena wrote, “When Dadi Ji photobombed but didn’t know.” The image features her late grandmother, Krishna Raj Kapoor, who was unknowingly photobombing the sweet moment in the hospital room.

Family Milestones
For those unfamiliar, Kareena and Saif welcomed their first son, Taimur Ali Khan, on December 20, 2016. Their second child, a boy named Jehangir Ali Khan, was born on February 21, 2021. The couple began their romantic journey while filming the 2007 movie Tashan and tied the knot in October 2012 after dating for a few years.
Recently, Kareena shared via social media that the year 2025 was particularly challenging for their family.
In a concerning incident, her husband Saif faced an attack by a burglar at their residence in January 2025. He underwent surgery and was hospitalized for nearly ten days. During the attack, Kareena’s younger son, Jeh, also sustained injuries.
