Jasmine Sandlas Claims ‘Shararat’ is the Biggest Bollywood Hit of 2025 Amidst Huge Fan Response

Jasmine Sandlas is experiencing tremendous success with her latest track, “Shararat,” featured in the blockbuster film “Dhurandhar.” The singer has enthusiastically labeled it the “biggest Bollywood banger” of 2025.

An excited Jasmine shared a video on Instagram, where she can be seen singing the track and laughing joyfully. In her caption, she stated, “Shararat is the biggest Bollywood banger of 2025. Maybe only second to Dhurandhar title track. Waheguru.”

“Shararat” is picturized on actresses Ayesha Khan and Krystle D’Souza, who perform as dancers in a wedding celebration scene. The film, directed by Aditya Dhar, features notable actors like Akshaye Khanna, Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal.

In addition to these stars, the cast includes Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Manav Gohil, Danish Pandor, Saumya Tandon, Gaurav Gera, and Naveen Kaushik in supporting roles.

This film marks the first installment of a two-part series, showcasing an anti-terror covert operation where an undercover agent navigates Karachi’s criminal and political landscape in Pakistan. The narrative is loosely based on significant real-life events that highlight geopolitical tensions, including the 1999 IC-814 hijacking, the 2001 Indian Parliament attack, the 2008 Mumbai attacks, and elements connected to Operation Lyari.

Reflecting on her career, Jasmine’s journey began with her first song, “Muskan,” in 2008, which became a hit. She made her Bollywood playback singing debut in 2014 with “Yaar Na Miley” for the film Kick. Following its release, the song went viral, topped the charts, and earned Jasmine critical acclaim for her unique singing style.

Some of her recent hits include “Taras” for the upcoming movie Munjya in 2024, and “Nasha” for Raid-2 in 2025. Jasmine has received numerous awards, including the “Most Popular Song of the Year 2016,” and has been featured on platforms like TEDx Talks, MTV Coke Studio, and Spoken Word.
