Jackie Shroff Celebrates 30 Years of Trimurti and 19 Years of Bhagam Bhag on Social Media

As his films Trimurti and Bhagam Bhag celebrated significant anniversaries of 30 and 19 years respectively, actor Jackie Shroff marked the occasion in his unique style on social media.

Jackie, known for remembering everyone’s birthdays and milestones from his films, took to Instagram to honor the 1995 movie Trimurti and the 2006 release Bhagam Bhag.

Celebrating Trimurti

He shared the poster of Trimurti, featuring himself alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Anil Kapoor. The post included the nostalgic tune “Duniya Re Duniya Very Good Very Good” by Udit Narayan and Vinod Rathod playing in the background. Jackie captioned the post with, “Celebrating 30 years of Trimurti.”

Trimurti, an action drama, also stars Anjali Jathar and Priya Tendulkar. This film was the last completed work of director Mukul S. Anand, who tragically passed away while filming Dus in 1997. The storyline follows Satyadevi, who, after being falsely accused and imprisoned, hopes her three sons will rescue her and avenge her wrongful accuser. However, she discovers that her sons live separate lives and harbor animosity towards one another.

Marking Bhagam Bhag

He also posted the poster of Bhagam Bhag, accompanied by its title track playing in the background, simply writing: #19yearsofbhagambhag.

Bhagam Bhag is a comedy thriller directed by Priyadarshan, featuring an ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Govinda, Paresh Rawal, Lara Dutta, Rajpal Yadav, Jackie Shroff, Arbaaz Khan, Shakti Kapoor, Manoj Joshi, Razak Khan, and Asrani. The film narrates the story of a theatre group traveling to London for a show in need of a heroine, only to find themselves caught in a murder mystery and mistakenly at odds with a drug cartel and street gang.

Notably, Bhagam Bhag adapts certain subplots from the Malayalam film Mannar Mathai Speaking, which was inspired by the 1958 classic Vertigo.
