Ishita Dutta and Vatsal Sheth marked a significant milestone in their daughter Veda’s life with her “Annaprashan” ceremony, where she got her first taste of rice.
In photos shared on social media by Ishita, the actress looked stunning in a saree, while Vatsal and their son Vaayu coordinated in cheerful yellow kurtas and white pajamas.
The family celebration saw Ishita and Vatsal’s parents in attendance, along with other relatives who showered love on the little one. “Veda’s first taste of rice, wrapped in blessings, love, and tradition. Bengali Annaprashan,” read Ishita’s heartfelt caption.
Among the images, a cake featured a delightful decoration of a little girl sitting in front of a plate of food, encapsulating the essence of the event.
The annaprashan ceremony is notable as it marks a baby’s first intake of solid food and is considered a crucial step in their growth and development.
Ishita and Vatsal’s love story began on the sets of the popular television show, “Rishton Ka Saudagar – Baazigar,” where they fell for each other. After a period of dating, the couple tied the knot in 2017.
They embraced parenthood for the first time in July 2023 with the arrival of their son Vaayu. This year, they welcomed their second child, a baby girl, in June. The proud parents announced their daughter’s arrival on social media, sharing a touching photo of Ishita holding the baby, with Vatsal and little Vaayu beside them. “From two to four hearts beating as one. Our family is now complete. Blessed with a baby girl,” they captioned the joyous post.
Recently, the couple celebrated eight years of marital bliss on November 28. Ishita commemorated their anniversary with a wedding picture, captioning it, “Happy Anniversary, Vatty. Eight years, two beautiful babies… and a lifetime of love to go. Us, always and forever.”
