The unit of director Buchi Babu Sana’s highly anticipated rural action drama ‘Peddi,’ featuring Telugu star Ram Charan in the lead role, has wrapped up its Delhi schedule.

Breathtaking Visuals from Delhi Sets

Ace cinematographer Rathnavelu, who is behind the camera for the film, shared images from the sets on his Instagram page. He celebrated the conclusion of the Delhi schedule with an enthusiastic update, stating, “Delhi schedule wrapped in style! Immersive, poetic visuals. Ram Charan bro at his incredible best!”

Originally, sources had indicated that several key scenes were to be filmed in Delhi. The entire talkie portion of the movie is expected to be completed by the end of January next year.

Smooth Production Progress

Sources have confirmed that all production aspects are moving along smoothly, with post-production work progressing at a commendable pace. Recently, the team has brought on board Sham Kaushal specifically for an action sequence, which is anticipated to be one of the film’s highlights.

The high-intensity fight scene, featuring Ram Charan alongside fighters, was filmed on an elaborate set created by production designer Avinash Kolla at the Aluminium Factory in Hyderabad.

Anticipation Surrounding ‘Peddi’

‘Peddi’ is already generating buzz with its first-look posters and glimpses. The film is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas and is prestigiously presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. With a substantial budget, the film is being made on a grand scale. Janhvi Kapoor stars as the female lead.

According to a source, “Director Buchi Babu Sana, a known perfectionist, is paying meticulous attention to every action segment. Each fight sequence has been crafted with unique concepts and breathtaking execution.”

In addition to Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, ‘Peddi’ also features Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyendu Sharma in significant roles.

The film boasts an outstanding technical crew, with Academy Award winner AR Rahman composing the music, renowned cinematographer Rathnavelu handling the visuals, and National Award-winning editor Navin Nooli overseeing the editing.

‘Peddi’ is set for a grand pan-India theatrical release on March 27, 2026.
