Seeking to clarify the speculation circulating on social media regarding the actress featured in a sensuous scene from the trailer of her upcoming film, “Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups,” director Geetu Mohandas has identified the actress as Beatriz Taufenbach in a post on her Instagram stories.

Yash’s Character Reveal

To celebrate actor Yash’s birthday, the filmmakers released a striking glimpse of his character, Raya, through a captivating trailer. The scene unfolds in the eerie silence of a cemetery, starting with a burial while cutting to Yash’s character, who is seen enjoying an intimate moment in a car with a woman. Unfazed by the bomb positioned behind them, the calm atmosphere is abruptly interrupted by a sudden blast and gunfire, leading to chaos as smoke envelops the scene and bodies are left scattered. Raya steps forward, armed with a Tommy gun and a smoking cigar.

Following the trailer’s release, social media erupted with speculation about the identity of the actress in the intimate scene, with many initially believing it to be Natalie Burn. This misinformation quickly gained traction, misleading numerous media outlets into reporting the same.

“Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups” is set to release in cinemas worldwide on March 19 this year. The film’s makers had previously unveiled the leading ladies’ characters, including Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria.

Co-written and directed by Geetu Mohandas, “Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups” has been filmed simultaneously in Kannada and English, with plans for dubbed versions in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and various other languages.
