Selena Gomez Opens Up About Feeling “Vulnerable” About Her Voice in Recent Instagram Live Session

Hollywood actress-singer Selena Gomez has expressed feeling “vulnerable” about her voice. During an Instagram Live session, the 33-year-old artist addressed a fan’s question regarding the changes in her vocal tone over the years.

“Yeah I’ve gotten this question a few times. The voice thing. So, sometimes when I’m on, nevermind,” she noted before shifting the conversation. “There’s no excuse. I don’t really care. I think my point is that sometimes things happen. I get weird. My throat kind of swells inside sometimes. That’s all.”

Gomez has been open about the difficulties she has faced after being diagnosed with lupus and bipolar disorder. In a recent episode of the podcast Good Hang with Amy Poehler, she revealed her struggle with arthritis caused by lupus, which influenced the design of her Rare Beauty products.

“I have arthritis in my fingers, and that’s due to my lupus. Before the brand, I struggled to open a water bottle because it hurt really bad before I was on the right medication. We somehow inherently made the products easy to open, and then we realized, wait, they kind of have to be that way. And then we started to make every product with the intention of working for anybody who has dexterity problems,” she explained.

In addition to serious discussions about her health, Gomez also answered lighthearted questions. Recently, she shared a humorous interaction on her Instagram Stories, where a follower asked her, “How do you shave your mustache?” A make-up free Gomez laughed it off and clarified that what appeared to be a five o’clock shadow was simply discoloration from “my melasma.”

“I take care of it and treat it, but yeah it’s there. I totally get it. It’s from the sun,” she said, urging her audience to use sunscreen.

  • Leonardo DiCaprio reveals he has never watched his iconic film ‘Titanic’ in a candid chat with Jennifer Lawrence.

Leonardo DiCaprio reveals he has never watched his iconic film ‘Titanic’ in a candid chat with Jennifer Lawrence.

Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio has revealed an intriguing detail about one of his most iconic films: he has never actually seen ‘Titanic’.

In a recent conversation with actress Jennifer Lawrence, who starred with him in 2021’s ‘Don’t Look Up’, the topic came up. Lawrence, 35, inquired whether DiCaprio had revisited ‘Titanic’. He responded, “No. I haven’t seen it before?” Lawrence encouraged him, saying, “Oh, you should. I bet you could watch it now, it’s so good.”

DiCaprio then shared his view on watching his films, asking, “I don’t really watch my films, do you?” To which she replied, “No,” adding humorously, “I’ve never made something like ‘Titanic’; if I did, I would watch it. Once, I was really drunk, I put on American Hustle. I was like, ‘I wonder if I’m good at acting?’ I put it on, and I don’t remember what the answer is.”

Reflecting on his viewing habits, DiCaprio mentioned in a conversation with director Paul Thomas Anderson that he seldom watches his own projects. In an interview with ‘Esquire’ magazine, he explained, “I rarely watch any of my films, but if I’m being honest, there’s one that I have watched more than others. It’s ‘The Aviator’. That’s simply because it was such a special moment to me. I had worked with Marty (Scorsese) on Gangs of New York, and I’d been toting around a book on Howard Hughes for 10 years.”

He emphasized the importance of that film in his career, saying, “By the time I got that movie made, I was 30. It was the first time as an actor I got to feel implicitly part of the production, rather than just an actor hired to play a role.”

“I felt responsible in a whole new way. I’ve always felt proud and connected to that film as such a key part of my growing up in this industry and taking on a role of a real collaborator for the first time,” he added.

  • Karan Tacker shares a spooky shooting experience for his show Bhay: The Gaurav Tiwari Mystery.

Karan Tacker shares a spooky shooting experience for his show Bhay: The Gaurav Tiwari Mystery.

Actor Karan Tacker is garnering praise for his performance in the recently released show Bhay: The Gaurav Tiwari Mystery. He recalled an unusual and unsettling experience while filming the series.

    A Strange Incident on Set

Sharing exclusive details, Karan stated, “We were shooting this one scene between me and a character whose name is Niharika, and at any given time, we have two cameras.”

He elaborated on the setup: “So I was wearing my close shot, and there was a camera kept at one corner that was shut.” Karan admitted feeling an uneasy sensation during the filming.

Describing the technical aspects, he noted, “There was a camera at one corner and another camera that was recording my close-up from another angle. Now, like for any camera, you obviously have to press a button to record it.”

    An Unexpected Footage

Creating an intense atmosphere around the moment, Karan revealed, “But the camera which was shut actually recorded the whole scene.”

What made the incident even more unsettling was the unique angle of the shot. Karan explained, “It recorded the whole scene from a very interesting, weird Dutch angle.”

He described the footage, saying, “So it recorded this whole very dramatic close-up of me from down below, depicting a scene where I am basically trying to narrate a heavy story of Niharika, but I am not able to do it.”

In reflecting on the experience, he concluded, “It was so weird that it shot like a proper, well-blocked close-up in a Dutch way, when in reality no one turned on the camera.”

    About the Series

Bhay: The Gaurav Tiwari Mystery delves into the true story of India’s first paranormal investigator, Gaurav Tiwari. The series made its debut on the 12th of December.

Alongside Karan, the show features a talented ensemble cast, including Kalki Koechlin, Saloni Batra, Danish Sood, Shubham Choudhury, and Nimisha Nair. The series is directed by Robbie Grewal.

  • Jennifer Lawrence Shares Funny Hallucination Story from ‘Hunger Games’ Set with Leonardo DiCaprio

Jennifer Lawrence Shares Funny Hallucination Story from ‘Hunger Games’ Set with Leonardo DiCaprio

Hollywood actress Jennifer Lawrence recently recounted a hilarious incident involving a hallucination while on the set of ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’.

During a conversation with Leonardo DiCaprio, she shared that the episode occurred after she accidentally took an Ambien right before filming a scene with Philip Seymour Hoffman.

“You and I are both obsessive about sleep when we’re working, like counting the hours,” she said to her ‘Don’t Look Up’ co-star. “When I did ‘Red Sparrow’, I took an Adderall instead of a sleeping pill, and then I didn’t sleep all night. I was taking hot showers in a panic. I am not somebody who can function without sleep. And then I had to say the phrase ‘Senate Armed Services Committee’ in a Russian accent. That sucked.”

Lawrence went on to reminisce, “I also once took an Ambien in the morning, thinking it was something else. It was a dance scene with Philip Seymour Hoffman in the second ‘Hunger Games’ movie. I was hallucinating. Elizabeth Banks got really annoyed with me.”

In response to Lawrence’s amusing revelation, Leonardo DiCaprio referred to these moments as “key screwups” in an actor’s career. Jennifer Lawrence originated the iconic role of Katniss Everdeen in ‘The Hunger Games’ franchise, which spanned four films from 2012 to 2015.

The series has since expanded, with film prequels like 2023’s ‘The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes’ and next year’s ‘Sunrise on the Reaping’, which Lawrence is set to appear in.

Reports from earlier this month indicated that both Lawrence and her original co-star Josh Hutcherson will reprise their roles as Katniss and Peeta in ‘Sunrise on the Reaping’. Although the specifics of their cameo are being kept under wraps, fans of the books are aware that their characters feature alongside Haymitch in the epilogue, suggesting a flash-forward.

In various interviews, the actress has expressed her enthusiasm about reprising the role of Katniss on the big screen once more.

  • Farah Khan Ali Remembers Late Mother Zarine Khan with Heartfelt Tribute on Instagram

Farah Khan Ali Remembers Late Mother Zarine Khan with Heartfelt Tribute on Instagram

Indian jewelry designer Farah Khan Ali is honoring the memory of her late mother, actress Zarine Khan. On Wednesday, she shared a heartfelt note on Instagram, reflecting on how her mother embodied kindness and compassion throughout her life.

    A Profound Loss

Farah expressed, “Death is the greatest equaliser. I could never have imagined what it truly makes you feel until I lost my mother. It makes you realise the depth of loss and, even more, the value of love in your life. My mother, Zarine Khan, was a strong woman on the surface, yet incredibly soft on the inside. She led with kindness and compassion. Love was her way of life. No matter what chaos life brought her, she believed in showing up with her smile. She truly lived by the thought that the show must go on, through all the ups and downs.”

    Strength in Adversity

Recalling a significant moment, she shared, “One story I clearly remember that portrays this so well goes back to the time when my father Sanjay Khan was hospitalised with severe third-degree burns after a fire accident on the sets of his television serial ‘The Sword of Tipu Sultan’. The doctors gave my father barely a ten percent chance of survival, and only if we agreed to amputate his hands, but my mother refused. She believed that if he survived he would never forgive her for making that decision. She then made a conscious choice.”

Farah mentioned that her father was never meant to know how critical his condition was. Her mother instructed her children to always dress well and speak only of positive topics during visits.

    A Daily Ritual of Love

Farah continued, “She did the same herself. She showed up every single day dressed beautifully, carrying a big smile on her face, talking to him about ‘made up’ trivial stories to distract him from his critical situation. Yet every time she stepped out of his room, she would silently break down and cry. But she believed deeply that energy reacts to energy, and she was right. My father never realised how serious his condition was, because a patient reacts to the energy of those around him. My father survived. The very doctors who had given up on him later called him the ‘miracle man’. That miracle was my mother, her faith, her strength, and her unwavering decision to show up with a smile against all odds. The last few weeks have been the most heartbreaking of my life, because my mother wasn’t just my parent.”

    A Deep Bond

Farah reflected on their relationship, saying, “She was my best friend, my confidante, my go-to person, my inspiration, and so much more. She was the one I turned to for every decision, because she never judged me but always assessed situations with a fair and unbiased mind. We spent so much time together. She was young at heart and loved to travel with me, making memories wherever we went. When she passed away suddenly, her loss broke me into pieces. I felt as though I had lost the spark that lit my fire, and with it, the will to do anything at all. But today, I am reminded of her words to me.”

Zarine Khan, the wife of actor-filmmaker Sanjay Khan and mother of Sussanne Khan and Zayed Khan, passed away on November 7, 2025, at the age of 81 due to a cardiac arrest.

    A Call to Remember

Farah concluded with a powerful message: “No matter what you are going through in life, one must always dress up and show up with a smile. To all her family, friends, and those whose lives she touched, it has been 40 days today since her passing, and it is time for us to return to life, because that is what your Zarine, my mother, would want from us. It’s time to dress up, and show up with a smile like she always did. I also want to thank all my family, friends, and followers who showed such heartfelt support during this moment of immense grief. Some of you never met my mother yet felt her loss as deeply as I did. Some of you have never met me yet reached out to console me. It is in times like these that you realise who will have your back. Life must go on, and so must I, because I have miles to go before I sleep. She may be gone from my sight, but never from my soul, and with her love, I will walk again. Rest in peace, my dearest angel mamma. I will be strong, just like you. Until we meet on the other side.”

  • Jennifer Lopez opens up about being a “lightning rod” for positivity and negativity in her life.

Jennifer Lopez opens up about being a “lightning rod” for positivity and negativity in her life.

Hollywood actress-singer Jennifer Lopez recently opened up about her experience of being a “lightning rod for nice things and a lot of negativity.”

At the Los Angeles Times’ 2025 Oscar Actresses Roundtable, the 56-year-old star discussed her struggle to ignore negative comments about her personal life while encouraging others to focus on her work. She remarked, “From the very beginning, for whatever reason, I’ve been a lightning rod for nice things and a lot of negativity.”

Lopez expressed her feelings of being misunderstood, sharing, “And it’s hard because you say to yourself, ‘These people don’t get me. They don’t see me. They don’t understand me.’ Then all of a sudden they do. And then they don’t again.”

The talented performer, who shares 17-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony, finalized her divorce from Ben Affleck nearly a year ago after rekindling their romance in 2021, 17 years after their initial engagement was called off.

Reflecting on her journey, the ‘Kiss of the Spider Woman’ star stated that she has always been affirming herself since a young age. “Even from when I was very young, I would always say, ‘I know who I am. I’m a good person. I know what I’m doing. People wouldn’t hire me if I wasn’t good at what I do’. I was always affirming myself and keeping my feet on the ground,” she noted.

She credited her “great” parents for instilling in her a strong sense of self. During the roundtable discussion, JLo joined fellow actresses Gwyneth Paltrow, Emily Blunt, Elle Fanning, Tessa Thompson, and Sydney Sweeney. Sydney emphasized that negativity is “just outside noise” that tends to “kind of disappear” when she steps onto the set.

Lopez agreed, adding, “And what Sydney was saying, I’d have to block out the noise so I can put my head on the pillow at night and go, ‘I did good today. I was a good person. I was kind to people. I worked really hard. I’m a good mom’. That has always helped me through.”

  • Rahul Vaidya praises Messi for staying true to his roots during his India visit, urging Inddigihunt to embrace their culture.

Rahul Vaidya praises Messi for staying true to his roots during his India visit, urging Inddigihunt to embrace their culture.

Bollywood singer Rahul Vaidya recently took to social media to emphasize the significance of staying connected to one’s roots and culture, drawing inspiration from football legend Lionel Messi.

    A Lesson from Messi

Rahul posted, “One thing we Inddigihunt must learn from Messi: Own your language. Own your culture. English is a skill — not a master. Learn it well, but don’t be enslaved by it. Looking down on your own language is the real insecurity. Global icon. Zero language insecurity.”

Despite being a global superstar, Messi surprised many by opting to communicate in his mother tongue, Spanish, during his visit to India. He chose to speak through his official translator instead of using English or any other language.

Messi toured India recently, visiting cities such as Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. On Wednesday, he shared a special video from his trip, along with a heartfelt message for his Indian fans.

    Memorable Moments in India

The video showcased Messi interacting with children at various stadiums and featured a meeting with cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar. Among all his Bollywood interactions, he highlighted only his meeting with actress Kareena Kapoor Khan and her sons.

In the post, Messi expressed, “Namaste, India! What incredible visits to Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata. Thanks for the warm welcome, great hospitality, and all the expressions of love throughout my tour. I hope football has a bright future in India (sic).”

Kareena, excited to be part of Messi’s farewell video, gave a shout-out to her son, Taimur, who highly admires the football star. She reposted the video on her social media, adding, “Ok Tim, then this happened (heart emoji) for you (heart emoji) (sic).”

During his stay in India, Messi had the opportunity to meet several Bollywood celebrities, including Ajay Devgn, Tiger Shroff, Shilpa Shetty, and Geeta Basra, among others.
