Filmmaker Boney Kapoor has a heartfelt surprise for his Instagram family to celebrate his brother Anil Kapoor’s birthday.
Boney shared a nostalgic black-and-white photograph of the Kapoor family, inviting followers to play a fun game of spotting Anil among them. He also offered an exciting reward for the winners.
“Spot Anil in this picture along with any 4 others in the picture & win a lunch date with him! Only the first 2 winners will be invited for sumptuous lunch with Anil,” Boney wrote in his post.
Anil’s younger brother, Sanjay Kapoor, also joined in the celebrations, posting a throwback image of the Kapoor brothers. He included a heartfelt note that read, “Happy birthday big brother, lots of love! You’ve been an inspiration for the whole family and me, so keep inspiring and showing us the path!”

Anil, Boney, and Sanjay are the sons of producer Surinder Kapoor and Nirmal Kapoor. They also have a sister, Reena Marwah.
In a touching tribute, Anil celebrated his father’s 100th birthday on Instagram, honoring the man who significantly influenced his career.
Reflecting on his father’s guidance in shaping iconic films like “Mr. India” and “Woh 7 din,” Anil shared, “Celebrating 100 years of my father today. He was the reason I first dreamed of becoming a leading man, simply hoping he would one day see me as a star, a successful actor making films under his banner.”
He added, “Woh 7 din and MR. India wouldn’t have seen the light of day without his goodwill and guidance. His simplicity, honesty, and quiet belief shaped every step of my journey.
