About Linkin Park
Formed in 1996, Linkin Park’s current lineup includes vocalist/rhythm guitarist/keyboardist Mike Shinoda, lead guitarist Brad Delson, DJ/turntablist Joe Hahn, bassist Dave Farrell, vocalist Emily Armstrong, and drummer Colin Brittain. The lineup for the band’s first seven studio albums featured lead vocalist Chester Bennington and drummer Rob Bourdon. Following Bennington’s tragic passing in July 2017, the band went through a seven-year hiatus, during which Bourdon chose to depart. The reformation of Linkin Park was announced in 2024, welcoming Armstrong and Brittain into the fold.
Linkin Park gained international fame with their debut studio album, Hybrid Theory, released in 2000. Their iconic track “In the End” reached the number two spot on the Billboard Hot 100. The band’s second album, Meteora, released in 2003, further catapulted their success. Their third album, Minutes to Midnight, released in 2007, marked a shift in their sound. By the end of the decade, Linkin Park had established itself as one of the most successful rock acts in history.

With over 100 million records sold worldwide, Linkin Park is among the best-selling music acts of all time. Their accolades include two Grammy Awards, seven American Music Awards, four Billboard Music Awards, four MTV Video Music Awards, 10 MTV Europe Music Awards, and three World Music Awards.
