Upcoming Projects
On the acting front, Anil was most recently seen in War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji. This film is the sixth installment in the YRF Spy Universe and serves as a sequel to the 2019 film War, starring Hrithik Roshan, Jr. NTR, and Kiara Advani.
The plot follows Kabir Dhaliwal, a former RAW agent, who becomes a significant threat to national security after going rogue. A special units officer, Vikram Chelapathi, is tasked with neutralizing him.
Anil is also set to appear in Subedaar, which takes place in the heartlands of India. The story follows Arjun Singh, a former soldier grappling with civilian life, haunted by his past. Faced with personal and societal challenges, he strives to mend his fractured relationship with his daughter, Shyama, played by Radhikka Madan. Set against themes of honor, sacrifice, and resilience, the film promises to deliver a stirring portrayal of a man torn between duty to his nation and love for his family.
Additionally, Anil has Alpha in the pipeline, which is also part of the YRF Spy Universe. In Alpha, he will share the screen with Bollywood superstar Alia Bhatt and actress Sharvari, known for her work in Munjya. This film marks the first female-led action project within the spy universe.
