Bollywood star Akshay Kumar recently shared a light-hearted tip on married life with Riteish Deshmukh. Keeping it simple and funny, Akshay emphasized that learning to say “sorry” is crucial for a happy marriage.

The power couple appeared on the premiere of Sony Entertainment Television’s latest show, Wheel of Fortune, where Akshay hosted and engaged in a candid conversation with them.
The exchange took a humorous turn as Akshay and Riteish fondly shared anecdotes about their wives, generating moments of warmth and laughter throughout the show.

Adding his signature wit on the Wheel of Fortune set, Akshay sparked further laughter by asking Riteish how long he and Genelia have been together. Riteish joyfully responded, “10 years of dating and 14 years of marriage, so it’s been 24 years in total.”
Akshay followed up with, “25 saal wale ko puch. Sorry bolna seekho (Ask the person who’s been married for 25 years. You have to learn how to say sorry).”
The fun escalated when Genelia joined in the banter and lightheartedly remarked, “Ye toh sorry Deshmukh hai,” eliciting laughter from everyone present.
On Marriage Fights
Adding to the lighthearted atmosphere, Akshay discussed his own experiences with wife Twinkle Khanna, saying, “Meri biwi ka alag hai (My wife has a different way). If my wife is angry with me, I will know when I come to sleep at night, because when I go to bed, I find out my side of the bed is completely wet; she throws water on it.” Riteish burst into laughter, playfully saying, “I love Tina (Twinkle’s birth name).”
