“Drinking mulled wine. Saving street animals and accidentally falling in love with Tbilisi. In that order @harjotkdhillon, @harpreetbachher, @kunalthakkur, @namrataramsay, @danishpandor. And who doesn’t love Chimney Cakes!?” she captioned her post.
About Aahana Kumra’s career, the talented actress first gained attention in the television series “Yudh,” which featured Amitabh Bachchan in 2013. She later starred in “Agent Raghav – Crime Branch,” a biweekly crime thriller, portraying the character Agent Trisha Dewan opposite Sharad Kelkar.
Aahana made her Hindi film debut in “Sona Spa” in 2013 and her Tulu film debut in “Kudla Cafe” in 2015. She hosted the Pro Kabaddi series in 2016. In 2017, she played a lead role in the acclaimed black comedy “Lipstick Under My Burkha” as Leela and featured in the political biography film “The Accidental Prime Minister.”
Recently, she appeared in the 2022 film “Salaam Venky,” directed by Revathi and featuring Kajol and Vishal Jethwa. The film narrates the true story of a mother striving to give her son—who has been diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy—the most fulfilling life possible. It is inspired by the book “The Last Hurrah” by Shrikanth Murthy, detailing the real-life experiences of Kolavennu Venkatesh and his mother, K. Sujata from Andhra Pradesh.
