Popular television actress Tejasswi Prakash has taken a nostalgic trip down memory lane, fondly revisiting her days on “Swaragini – Jodein Rishton Ke Sur,” calling 2016 a year that will always hold a special place in her heart.
The actress, who began her acting career with the thriller 2612, shared a collection of images from the beloved drama series on Instagram, which also featured Helly Shah, Varun Kapoor, and Namish Taneja. “2016 has my And it always will #swaragini,” she captioned her post.
“Swaragini – Jodein Rishton Ke Sur” revolved around two estranged sisters who meet by chance and make a pact to bring their parents together and rekindle their lost love. However, this journey complicates their own love lives.
This show marked a significant turning point in Tejasswi’s career, earning her widespread recognition for her portrayal of Ragini. After her debut in 2012, she played Dhara Vaishnav in the soap opera Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki opposite Jay Soni. Tejasswi also featured in the mystery drama Pehredaar Piya Ki. Following that, she reprised her role as Diya Singh in Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya.
In 2018, she took on the role of Uruvi in the mythological drama Karn Sangini opposite Aashim Gulati, and in 2019, she portrayed Mishti Malhotra in Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka.
Tejasswi made her reality TV debut with the action-based show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi and later participated in Bigg Boss, where she spent seventeen weeks inside the house and ultimately won the season.
Following her success in Bigg Boss, she was signed as the lead in Ekta Kapoor’s popular supernatural franchise Naagin, playing the protagonist Pratha Gujral, a shape-shifting serpent.
More recently, she took part in the first season of Celebrity MasterChef India, finishing as the second runner-up. Currently, she is featured in “Laughter Chefs Fun Unlimited” season 3.
