In a heartfelt message on social media, Dhanush expressed his emotions: “Thank you for making 2025 truly unforgettable. Three films in three different languages and seeing each of them become a superhit has been a blessing I will cherish forever, and it was possible only because of your love and support.”
He extended warm wishes for the New Year, saying, “As we welcome 2026, I wish you and your families a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year. May it bring you joy, success, and everything your heart desires.”
Dhanush also took a moment to acknowledge his fans, stating, “Finally, to all my incredible fans, my pillars of strength, thank you as always for the unwavering support and love. Wish everyone a blessed 2026.”
He concluded his note with a heartfelt, “Om Nama Shivaya…With love.”
Dhanush’s first major hit of 2025 was “Kuberaa,” directed by Sekhar Kammula. This drama showcased powerful performances from Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna, and Jim Sarbh. Produced by Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP in collaboration with Amigos Creations, the film was shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil, enjoying a theatrical release on April 10, 2025.
Following that was Dhanush’s Tamil film “Idli Kadai,” co-produced by him under Wunderbar Films, in association with Dawn Pictures. The movie features an ensemble cast including Arun Vijay, Sathyaraj, P. Samuthirakani, Nithya Menen, Shalini Pandey, Rajkiran, and R. Parthiban.
Dhanush’s final release in 2025, “Tere Ishk Mein,” was equally impactful. Directed by Aanand L. Rai and headlined by Kriti Sanon, this romantic entertainer debuted on November 28, 2025. As a spiritual sequel to “Raanjhanaa,” it garnered significant appreciation for Dhanush’s compelling performance.
