Filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga continued his New Year tradition by unveiling the first poster of his highly anticipated film “Spirit” at midnight on January 1st.
The poster showcases a wounded Prabhas standing by a window, with Triptii lighting his cigarette. Prabhas is seen bare-chested, dressed in off-white pants and dark glasses, holding a bottle of liquor in his hands. Conversely, Triptii is adorned in a beige outfit and wearing a gold bangle on her right wrist.
Sharing the initial look of “Spirit” on social media, Sandeep Reddy Vanga wrote, “INDIAN CINEMA…. witness your AJANUBAHUDU / AJANUBAHU Happy New Year 2026 (sic).”
Notably, “Spirit” marks the filmmaker’s first professional collaboration with Prabhas, although he has previously worked with Triptii in “Animal,” which also features Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Rashmika Mandanna.
Production for “Spirit” kicked off in November 2025 during a Mahurat ceremony attended by prominent figures from the entertainment industry, including Megastar Chiranjeevi, who was a special guest at the event.
Bhadrakali Pictures, the production house helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, shared pictures from the launch event on their X (formerly Twitter) account, stating, “India’s biggest superstar #Prabhas’s ‘SPIRIT’ has been launched with Megastar @KChiruTweets garu as the special guest.”
Expressing gratitude for Chiranjeevi’s presence, Sandeep Reddy Vanga shared a heartfelt note on social media: “Heartfelt thank you to our MEGASTAR CHIRANJEEVI sir for blessing the event with his presence. Sir….. your gesture is unforgettable — we all love you @KChiruTweets #SPIRIT MUHURTHAM.”
In celebration of Prabhas’ birthday on October 23, the makers also unveiled a promotional teaser featuring a ‘sound story’ that includes voices from Prakash Raj and Prabhas, introducing the film’s world.
Alongside Prabhas and Triptii, the project will also feature Prakash Raj, Vivek Oberoi, and Kanchana as part of the supporting cast.
