Kaun Banega Crorepati: Contestant Reveals Marriage Wait for Hot Seat, Surprising Amitabh Bachchan!

Kaun Banega Crorepati, hosted by the legendary Amitabh Bachchan, has once again created a buzz. Contestant Mitkumar Thakrar shared an unexpected revelation: he chose not to get married because of KBC, which left both the audience and Big B astonished.

Mitkumar’s Wait for KBC

Thakrar explained his unique reasoning, stating, “I have been waiting and trying to come to KBC as a contestant for 25 years.” He further elaborated, “I had received a marriage proposal 25 years ago, but I told her that first I would want to sit on the hot seat of KBC, then I will sit on the horse as a groom.” Amitabh, amused, playfully inquired about the status of the marriage proposal, suggesting that she might still be waiting. Thakrar cheekily responded, “Sir, unki toh shaddi hogayi kabki” (Sir, she got married long ago), prompting laughter from Amitabh and the audience.

The Enduring Magic of KBC

KBC has captivated viewers ever since its inception in 2000, maintaining its special place in Indian television. Recently, actress Ananya Panday appeared on the show to promote her upcoming film Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, alongside Kartik Aaryan. She shared how her family has been deeply attached to KBC over the last 25 years.

Ananya mentioned, “When my grandparents come from Delhi, we have a special ritual at home that from Monday to Friday, we sit with them and watch KBC. The whole family sits together and watches the show.” Amitabh chimed in, “and when they leave?” To which Ananya replied, “No, I watch it.”

Continuing her conversation with Big B, she expressed her very personal connection to the show: “I think it wasn’t just my dream; it was the collective dream of the Panday family that at least one person should go to Kaun Banega Crorepati, and luckily, I was the first, and I made it.”

Upcoming Film Expectations

As for her film Tu Meri Main Tera, it is set for a Christmas release on December 25.
