England continues to win against India in the World Cup

India won the toss and elected to field first. This decision of India was looking good as in the first 6 overs there were 3 wickets down for 37 runs and Renuka Thakur was in an outstanding form. But then England made a tremendous comeback with Nat Sciver-Brunt playing an unbelievable knock of 50 runs and stable the innings of England. England ended up scoring 151 runs at the loss of 7 wickets and Renuka Thakur taking 5 wickets. India need 152 runs to win in 120 balls.

Smriti Mandhana gave a strong start to Indian innings with 52 runs but there wasn’t a support from the other end. People are still waiting to see a Captain’s inning. Richa Ghosh played an unbelievable knock of 47 not out runs.

England are still at the top of the points table and the record of winning against India in the World Cup continues. It the 6th time that England have won against India.

Lots of questions are rising as the wicket of the skipper Karu was to early to play attacking knock ? Could Smriti have taken a single on the last ball after completing her half century before the ball she got out ? Was the rain a reason to stop boundaries as Richa and Deepti were trying to hit fours but the ball could not reach it ? And many more.
