The film will compete against works such as Argentina’s “Belen,” Brazil’s “The Secret Agent,” and Japan’s “Kokuho,” among others.

Filmmaker Anees Bazmee celebrated a milestone as his 2007 romantic comedy “Welcome” marked 18 years since its release.

Despite the film aging, Bazmee shared that the audience’s affection for the drama remains ever youthful. On his Instagram account, he posted memorable scenes from “Welcome” and wrote, “18 years of Welcome… and the love hasn’t aged a bit. From Majnu-Uday’s madness to Ghungroo’s priceless reactions, from Rajiv’s innocence to RDX’s swag—every character stayed, lived, and became family.”

Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, “Toxic” is set to hit theatres on the long festive weekend of 19th March 2026, coinciding with Eid, Ugadi, and Gudi Padwa.
