Music composer and Bigg Boss 19 contestant Amaal Mallik recently opened up about one of the most painful and emotionally challenging periods of his life during a heartfelt conversation with Ashnoor Kaur inside the house.
A Difficult Time
Amaal described this time as the lowest point in his life. He shared with Ashnoor, “2020-2021-2022-2023-2024, those were very bad years for me. I lost my pet, lost a few friends, Covid happened, and a 6-7 year relationship came to an end.” He elaborated on the loss of his pet dog, Handsome, stating, “When I lost Handsome, it was the worst phase.”
Amaal mentioned that his mother had advised him to visit Handsome when he was unwell, but he couldn’t bring himself to do so. Ashnoor, showing compassion, listened attentively and tried to console him as he broke down. For those who may not know, Amaal keeps a framed photo of himself with Handsome beside his bed in the Bigg Boss house. He has repeatedly said that this photo serves as a source of strength throughout his BB 19 journey.
Challenges in the Game
Turning to Amaal’s game in the show, his friendship with co-contestant Tanya Mittal seems to have taken a turn for the worse. Recently, Tanya and her friend Neelam had a significant confrontation, during which Amaal appeared detached and did not offer support to Tanya. He expressed that Tanya was an attention seeker and likely enjoyed being the center of conversation, as he came to Neelam’s defense.
His comments deeply affected Tanya, who had previously been one of Amaal’s biggest emotional supporters in the house.
