Actress Rashmika Mandanna shares that her parents have praised her latest horror comedy film “Thamma” as the best film of hers they have seen. She expressed her happiness over her younger sister’s enjoyment of the film, which brings her a genuine sense of peace.

Reflecting on her family’s reaction to “Thamma,” Rashmika said, “Oh, they are bluntly saying that this is by far the best film of mine that they’ve watched. So that is their reaction.” She also mentioned, “My sister, she is extremely happy. She has a gazillion questions, which I think I should get her in touch with Amar sir (producer Amar Kaushik) and Aditya sir (director Aditya Sarpotdar) to answer them all. But she has thoroughly enjoyed it, which makes me genuinely feel at peace.”

“Thamma” had a strong opening, grossing Rs. 25.11 crore nett in India on its first day, and is now racing towards the Rs. 100-crore mark worldwide.

Set in a fictional world, “Thamma” also features Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Ayushmann Khurrana. Looking ahead, Rashmika is set to star in “The Girlfriend,” a Telugu romantic drama alongside Dheekshith Shetty, directed by Rahul Ravindran. This film is scheduled for release on November 7, 2025, in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.
