After enjoying all those Diwali desserts, Randeep Hooda is back in action, resuming his fitness training in full swing.

The ‘Sarbjit’ actor took to his official Instagram account and posted a couple of pictures of himself posing by the window, shirtless. Flaunting his chiseled physique, Hooda penned, “The body remembers the rhythm. Post-Diwali reset back to training, back to purpose. A new chapter loading. (Bicep emoji) (sic).” His caption hints that Hooda is all set to embark on his next cinematic journey.

Recently, Hooda and his wife Lin Laishram delighted fans with glimpses from their Karva Chauth celebrations, expressing their connection by stating they are “together in every phase from sunrise to moonrise.” The first photo in the post captured a selfie of Randeep and Lin, followed by a snap of Lin holding the pooja ki thali. Another photo showed Lin gazing at her husband through a decorative sieve. The final photograph featured Hooda gently touching Lin’s cheek while she looked at him through the sieve.

“Together in every phase from sunrise to moonrise. Happy Karwa Chauth #forevermine, (sic),” read the caption on their joint post.

For those unfamiliar, Randeep and Lin met at esteemed actor Naseeruddin Shah’s theatre group, Motley. After developing feelings for each other, they began living together during the lockdown and made their relationship Instagram official in 2022. The couple tied the knot in November 2023 in a traditional Meitei ceremony in Imphal, Manipur.

On the work front, Hooda has reportedly acquired the official movie rights to “Operation Khukri: The Untold Story of the Indian Army’s Bravest Peacekeeping Mission Abroad” by Major General Rajpal Punia and Damini Punia. The film aims to depict real-life events from 2000, when 233 Indian soldiers were taken hostage by rebel forces in Sierra Leone, West Africa, leading to a high-risk rescue mission.

  • Aditi Rao Hydari’s Cozy Sundays: A Heartwarming Snuggle Session with Her Furry Friends!

Aditi Rao Hydari’s Cozy Sundays: A Heartwarming Snuggle Session with Her Furry Friends!

Actress Aditi Rao Hydari has chosen to spend her Sundays cuddling with furry friends.

The ‘Heeramandi’ actress shared several snaps of her playing with dogs on her official Instagram handle. In her post, she praised those who rescue and nurture these animals, writing, “Sundays are for cuddles and squishes ❤️ More power to these incredibly inspiring humans for rescuing and looking after these furry babies.”

She did not hold back in expressing her disdain for those who mistreat animals, adding, “Tight slaps to evil humans who abandon them, torture them and behave like demons… @thepetcafehyd ❤️ @devenshopesociety Thank you Malli poo and mumsie pie for taking me there! @mallikareddyg.”

Earlier, Aditi also celebrated the revival of the historic Wanaparthy saree, which she regards as a tribute to her royal lineage. Coming from the royal family of Wanaparthy in Telangana, she took to social media to reflect on this revitalization.

The ‘Padmaavat’ actress shared, “My grandfather Raja J Rameshwar Rao worked towards this revival as a young man. He encouraged the weavers and ordered for the family from them. Had old designs sent to them to relearn and recreate. His ancestors, the art-loving rulers of Wanaparthy, had brought Pathani weavers to settle in their kingdom, and the saree and weaving then adapted to the region as it evolved.”

Aditi reminisced about a specific saree: “I remember one specific saree that my grandmother, mother and her sisters have, inspired by a famous Ravi Varma painting, the black asharfi saree. And now I realise that I was inspired by that saree too. Firmly locked and sealed in my subconscious mind, and it all emerged when the genius Sabyasachi was creating the half saree for Siddharth and my wedding at the Wanaparthy temple!”

She expressed her excitement further: “There is so much to write, and family histories are so interesting; I’ll have to ask my Amma for more! For now I’ll leave you with this exhibition… I’m so proud to bring this to you all. I hope the weavers of Wanaparthy reclaim their rich legacy.”

George Clooney Remembers Fun Times with Tony Bennett and Getting Yelled at by Frank Sinatra

Hollywood actor George Clooney is reflecting on his early days in the industry and the memorable experiences he had while navigating it.

The 64-year-old actor recently attended the Los Angeles premiere of his latest film, ‘Jay Kelly,’ where he reminisced about his beginnings, as reported by ‘People’ magazine.

When asked about stories involving his aunt, the renowned singer Rosemary Clooney, who passed away in 2002, George shared that he worked as her driver while trying to make a name for himself in Hollywood. He recounted driving many famous artists during that time.

“I remember being on the road when I was my Aunt Rosemary’s driver when she was singing. And I hadn’t known her much when I was young because I lived in Kentucky,” he said.

As he reminisced further, he noted, “She was the Hollywood aunt. So I came out to make a living and I was her driver. I got to drive her and Tony Bennett, and all of these really wonderful singers around for a year.”

According to ‘People,’ George, known for his role in ‘Oceans 11,’ emphasized that being close to major stars taught him valuable lessons early in his career.

“I got a really good life lesson in success and failure, and handling it. And I always remember that I felt very lucky that I got that lesson early in time,” he shared.

George also recounted an amusing incident where he was once yelled at by Frank Sinatra, a moment he considers a badge of pride.

“I remember he was mad at me once because I led this boycott about some press freedoms. He called me because people thought he was sick, and there were helicopters flying over his home, and he called me going, ‘It’s not working what you’re doing.’ But he was great.”

  • Guillermo del Toro: ‘I’d Rather Die Than Use Generative AI in My Films’

Guillermo del Toro: ‘I’d Rather Die Than Use Generative AI in My Films’

The three-time Oscar-winning filmmaker Guillermo del Toro has voiced his strong opposition to the revolutionary technology of artificial intelligence (AI).

He stated that he would “rather die” than employ artificial intelligence, especially generative AI, in any of his upcoming films, as reported by Variety.

In a recent conversation with NPR, del Toro likened the cultural fascination with this controversial technology to the “arrogance” embodied by the titular character in his Netflix adaptation of Frankenstein.

He expressed, “AI, particularly generative AI, I am not interested, nor will I ever be interested. I’m 61, and I hope to remain uninterested in using it at all until I croak. The other day, somebody wrote me an email, said, ‘What is your stance on AI?’ And my answer was very short. I said, ‘I’d rather die.’”

According to Variety, the director of Pan’s Labyrinth emphasized that the real hazards do not lie within the technology itself, but rather in “natural stupidity,” which can lead to the misuse of AI.

He remarked that “natural stupidity” is responsible for “most of the world’s worst features.” He further connected the character of Victor Frankenstein to those leading the charge in AI development.

Del Toro noted, “I did want it to have the arrogance of Victor (Frankenstein) be similar in some ways to the tech bros. He’s kind of blind, creating something without considering the consequences, and I think we have to take a pause and consider where we’re going.”

Guillermo del Toro’s adaptation of Frankenstein, based on Mary Shelley’s 1818 novel, features a star-studded cast including Jacob Elordi, Oscar Isaac, Mia Goth, Christoph Waltz, and Ralph Ineson. The film is set to premiere on Netflix on November 7.
