The entire nation, particularly the Bollywood industry, is in mourning following the passing of superstar Dharmendra on November 24.

Prominent figures from Bollywood have been visiting the Deol family at Dharmendra’s residence in Mumbai to offer their condolences. On the evening of November 25, superstar Hrithik Roshan, accompanied by his father Rakesh Roshan, paid their respects to the grieving family. Rakesh Roshan worked alongside Dharmendra in the 1983 film Teesri Aankh, which also featured Shatrughan Sinha.

Earlier that afternoon, superstar Ajay Devgn was also seen at Dharmendra’s house, expressing his sorrow to the family. Other notable personalities who visited include filmmaker Farah Khan, actress Ananya Panday, Kajol, Jackky Bhagnani and his actress wife Rakul Preet Singh, along with filmmakers Abbas-Mustan.

For those unfamiliar, Dharmendra was set to celebrate his 90th birthday on December 8 this year. He passed away at the age of 89 after being placed on a ventilator a few weeks prior due to breathing difficulties. He had recently been discharged from the hospital and returned home for ongoing treatment.

The legendary actor is survived by his first wife, Prakash Kaur, and their four children: Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Ajeta, and Vijayta. He is also survived by his second wife, the renowned actress Hema Malini, and their two daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol. That moment stayed with me so deeply that years later, when I was creating my play With Love, Aapki Saiyaara, I actually recreated that memory through a photoshopped visual of the two of us!”

Juhi expressed her gratitude for Dharmendra’s involvement in her play. She shared, “When I returned to work after my sabbatical and found myself writing, directing and becoming my play With Love Aap Ki Saiyaara, there was only one face that came to my mind.. the only face that could do justice to the beautiful bond Saiyaara shares with her father.. it was yours.”

She described how Dharmendra swiftly agreed to be a part of the play. “I called you, described the play, and you said YES instantly! It remains one of the kindest gestures anyone has made towards me. You became Saiyaara’s Baba, and nobody can take that place. You will always be Saiyaara’s Baba. Your blessings are one of the biggest reasons the play has been such a huge success.”

Juhi added, “The sigh, the laughter, the emotion.. the silence in the audience filled with feeling when you appear on screen as Baba.. it is simply unmatchable.”

Reflecting on her childhood, Juhi noted how stories of Dharmendra inspired her. “When I look back at my life, I realise that the one name I heard the most in my house.. the one person my father @rajbabbarmp loved, admired and cherished the most in the film industry.. was you, ‘Dharam Ji’. You were the elder brother to my father.. the elder brother he never had!”

Expressing her sorrow over Dharmendra’s passing, she wrote, “Your passing is an irreplaceable personal loss to our family. But you will live in our hearts forever and ever. And you will remain Saiyaara’s Baba.. forever and ever. Love you, Dharam Uncle.”

What stayed with me was how easy he made everyone feel – like you’d known him forever. His generosity wasn’t loud; it was the kind you felt.”

Ishitta expressed her sorrow, stating, “People will call this a loss to the industry – and it is – but to me, it feels like a loss to humanity. My thoughts are with his family, and the millions who loved him and were touched by his presence – just like I was on that afternoon. Dua dil meri, har dil se adaa ho jaaye. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has granted a ‘U/A’ certificate to director Mahesh Babu P’s upcoming commercial entertainer, ‘Andhra King Taluka.’ The film stars actor Ram Pothineni in the lead role and is set to hit screens on November 28.

Ram Pothineni is making a significant investment in this film, marking his debut as a lyricist in the Telugu film industry. The film’s cinematography is handled by Siddhartha Nuni, while National Award-winning editor Sreekar Prasad is responsible for editing.

According to the production house, the film tells the story of a fan named Sagar, played by Ram Pothineni. Bhagyashree Borse, whose star is rising, takes on the female lead, alongside Kannada superstar Upendra, who portrays Surya Kumar, a film superstar.

With a highly experienced technical crew backing the project, ‘Andhra King Taluka’ promises top-notch cinematic quality.
