Adah Sharma Cherishes Joyful Memories of Late Grandmother: “This is How Paati Would Want to be Remembered”

Actress Adah Sharma appears to be deeply missing her beloved grandmother, who sadly passed away on November 23. Recently, she shared a heartfelt video montage on her social media, filled with joyful memories, showcasing moments where her grandmother is seen dancing and enjoying life alongside her.

In a touching caption accompanying the numerous photos and videos, Adah wrote, “Om shanti. This is how our Paati (my grandmother) would like to be remembered. Thank you to all of Kocha’s teachers and students for celebrating her always. She passed away 3 days ago.”

Adah’s grandmother breathed her last in Mumbai at 5:30 am on November 23. She had been hospitalized for the past few weeks and succumbed to complications related to ulcerative colitis and diverticulitis. Known for their close bond, Adah often shared joyful memories with her grandmother on social media, particularly the widely loved “Party with Paati” videos.

Sources indicate that Adah and her mother are planning a memorial service for her grandmother in their hometown in Kerala. A close source mentioned, “Adah is closer to her grandmother than anyone else. She lived with her grandmother, who had been in the hospital for the past month.” They are set to hold a memorial service in Kerala.

Earlier in August, Adah shared glimpses of her grandmother’s birthday celebration on social media. The video posted on her X (formerly Twitter) featured her grandmother enjoying her special day surrounded by family, with everyone singing ‘Happy Birthday.’ They were also seen dancing to songs such as “Bareli Ke Bazaar Me” and “Sar Jo Tera Chakraye.”

The video included moments from the cake-cutting ceremony. Adah captioned it, “My Naani’s sweet 16th birthday #PartyWithPaati… Honoured to have the opportunity to be the cinematographer of my grandmother’s birthday bash.”
