Stunt choreography for ‘I’m Game’ is handled by Anbariv Masters, known for their work on major pan-Indian films like ‘Kabali,’ the ‘KGF’ series, and ‘Vikram.’ Following the action-packed success of ‘RDX,’ the Anbariv team is excited to reunite with Nahas for this film.

Produced by Dulquer Salmaan and Jom Verghese, ‘I’m Game’ has sparked significant excitement as it marks Dulquer’s return to Malayalam cinema. The story is penned by Nahas Hidhayath himself, with the screenplay written by Sajeer Baba, Bilal Moidu, and Ismail Aboobacker.

Cinematography is in the hands of Jimshi Khalid, editing by Chaman Chakko, and music composed by Jakes Bejoy. Anticipations are high as costumes are designed by Mashar Hamsa, and production design is attributed to Deepak Parameshwaran.

Vikram Prabhu mentioned that his first connection to this project came through director Tamizh, who initially reached out to him to discuss the story. “I told him that since doing ‘Taanakaaran,’ I had been getting a series of cop roles and questioned if this was the right choice. But Tamizh assured me it was a good story and encouraged me to listen to it. He narrated it for half an hour, and I liked it,” Vikram said.

The film is produced by the renowned S S Lalit Kumar’s Seven Screen Studios. It draws inspiration from real-life incidents, with the story crafted by director Tamizh, who is widely recognized for the critically acclaimed film ‘Taanakaran.’ This narrative is said to stem from a personal experience.

Suresh Rajakumari, the co-director of acclaimed filmmaker Vetrimaran, has taken on the roles of writer and director for this film. Vikram Prabhu plays the lead, and actress Anantha is featured opposite him. Hollywood filmmaker James Cameron has revealed that Arnold Schwarzenegger will not be in the upcoming ‘Terminator’ movie.

The 78-year-old actor, known for his role as T-800 in the sci-fi franchise since the original 1984 film, will be absent from this new installment. Cameron explained that “it’s time for a new generation of characters” to take over the franchise, as reported by ‘Female First UK’.

Cameron’s Insight

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the 71-year-old director stated, “I can safely say he won’t be (in it). It’s time for a new generation of characters. I insisted Arnold had to be involved in ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’, and it was a great finish to him playing the T-800. There needs to be a broader interpretation of ‘Terminator’ and the idea of a time war and super intelligence. I want to do new stuff that people aren’t imagining.”

A History of Absences

While this will be the first time Schwarzenegger’s iconic action hero will not appear, it’s worth noting that he was also absent from the franchise in 2009’s ‘Terminator: Salvation’, during his tenure as Governor of California.

Future Developments

When asked about whether he had cracked the premise of the next ‘Terminator’ movie, Cameron teased he is “working on it.” According to ‘Female First UK’, the ‘Titanic’ director is looking to revisit the ‘Terminator’ series once he completes work on ‘Avatar’.

He remarked, “Once the dust clears on Avatar in a couple of months, I’m going to really plunge into that. There are a lot of narrative problems to solve. The biggest is how do I stay enough ahead of what’s really happening to make it science fiction?”

The makers of director Uday Sharma’s upcoming family drama ‘Sahakutumbaanaam,’ featuring actors Raam Kiran and Megha Akash in lead roles, have announced yet another postponement of the film’s release.

This time, the film is set to release in January next year. Initially scheduled to debut on December 12, the release was moved to December 19 to allow actor Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Akhanda 2’ to “roar, dominate and create unstoppable mass celebrations.”

HNG Cinemas, the production house behind ‘Sahakutumbaanaam,’ released a statement explaining their decision: “We planned ‘Sahakutumbaanaam’ for a December 12th release, but when Balayya garu’s ‘Akhanda 2’ shifted to the same date, we felt only pride and respect. As admirers of Nandamuri Balakrishna garu, we want his film to roar, dominate, and create unstoppable mass celebrations. So with due respect, love, and complete goodwill, we are postponing our film to December 19th.”

In their statement, the production house emphasized, “Some decisions are not business… they are emotion. We believe cinema is a festival and Balayya garu’s film deserves its full fireworks. We hope our audience understands this gesture and supports us with even more affection. Let’s celebrate both films together: Akhanda 2 – December 12th, Sahakutumbaanaam – December 19th – Proud admirers & makers of ‘Sahakutumbaanaam.’”

However, now, with just a day remaining before the film’s release, the makers have decided to postpone it once more due to a shortage of available theatres.

HNG Cinemas took to their X timeline to announce: “A little more wait, a lot more love. #Sahakutumbaanam arriving this January. The wait will be worth it.” They further stated, “Due to unforeseen theatre-related issues, the release of ‘Sahakutumbaanaam’ has been postponed to January. At present, we are receiving very limited theatre availability, and we believe it’s important to release the film in the right manner so it can reach the audience it truly deserves. We sincerely thank everyone for the immense love, patience, and support you’ve shown us. A NEW RELEASE DATE will be announced very soon. WE PROMISE THE WAIT WILL BE WORTH IT.”
