Naatu Naatu Music director MM Keeravani NERVOUS to perform the song at the Oscars as it gets a nomination!
RRR is one of the most successful movies of Indian cinema and has made history for India as one of the songs from the movie “Naatu Naatu” has been nominated for the Oscars 2023.
The movie was Directed by SS Rajamouli and had big stars of the Tollywood industry such as Jr. NTR, Ram charan Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgan. The film grossed ₹1,200–1,258 Crore worldwide. The song Naatu Nattu was composed by Keeravani and his song stands a very good chance of winning the Oscar.
It was during a recent .edia interaction that Keeravani stated, “My greatest joy is to make my country proud. ‘Naatu Naatu’ was not created in isolation. There were many others in our team who made the song possible. My cousin Rajamouli always brings out the best in me. If he had not told me what he expected from me ‘Naatu Naatu’ wouldn’t be possible.”
The song has already won big at the Golden Globes, and when talking about that he exclaimed, “I was confident of the journey and I knew we were on the right track. I am confident we will bring home the Oscar.”
The south-Indian composer is not just confident about winning the Oscars for his song, he is also over the moon because he will also be performing the song live in front of the audiences at the Oscar awards function! Speaking to a media portal he shared that he is a little shaky to perform the song in front of the live audience, ““I am confident about winning. But performing the song live in front of such a gathering needs a lot of preparation and rehearsals,” Keeravani told the portal.
He further revealed how he is. Obese and needs to mai tain his health in order to keep his mind healthy which is necessary to keep churning out good music, ““For too long now I’ve neglected my health. It was only at the Golden Globe when even standing and giving the speech became a problem that I became aware of my obesity. I am out of shape. If the body is not healthy, the mind cannot be fully functional. If I am going to compose more songs that make my country proud, I’ve to be healthy in both body and mind.” Keeravani said.
