RANDEEP HOODA HEADS TO KARNAL FOR THE SHOOT OF ROM-COM UNFAIR & LOVELY
On Thursday, Randeep Hooda headed to Karnal to get started with the 20-days scheduled shoot for his upcoming rom-com Unfair & Lovely. After wrapping up the shoot of Radhe, Randeep is now ready to hop onto his next project.
Following Hooda’s arrival, Ileana D’Cruz also reached Karnal. Soon after the actors reached the location, they started to prepare for their upcoming film. Yesterday, the lead actors of Unfair & Lovely had a virtual script reading session. According to the PTI reports, the story of Unfair & Lovely revolves around a dusky looking girl crushed under the societal prejudice towards dark skin tone.
The movie Unfair & Lovely will be Balwinder Singh’s directorial debut. Before this, we have seen his work as a screenplay writer for movies like Saand Ki Aankh and Mubarakan. Balwinder Singh has been in talks with Randeep Hooda about this project for a while. “ It took some time to take shape and now I’m excited to run with it,” he acknowledged.
In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Randeep Hooda expressed his feelings about working in his native place, Haryana, for his upcoming movie. “You are suspicious of anything that is given to you and then close your eyes, hoping for the best,” said the Radhe actor. Adding to this, he also expressed his concern towards everyone’s security by saying,” Since I am from the state, my first priority was to ensure that not too many get wind of my presence and those who do, have been asked to meet me only after the shoot is over keeping everyone’s safety in mind.”
A rom-com movie like Unfair & Lovely is going to be a completely different genre of acting for Randeep Hooda. The fans are eager to watch their favorite actor in such a variant role.
