Shaadi Mubarak female lead Rajshree quits the show

Shaadi Mubarak is the new show which was started on 24 August on Star Plus with Manav Gohil and Rajshree Thakur as the lead pair. The show garnered a good amount of TRP in a short span. The public was connecting with the story and the characters. But now there is news that the female lead of the show, Rajshree has bid adieu to the show citing reasons like hectic schedule and tiring working days. But there’s a buzz in the industry that she has quitted the show due to discrepancies with the makers of the show. It is said that she was unhappy with how her character was unfolding in front of the public. But the actress denied all the allegations while talking to a reputed news portal.

She said, “The real reason about my exit is that I was unable to cope up with the hectic schedule of working for 12 hours and 26 days in a month, especially having a three-year-old daughter at home.” Venting her thoughts on the disparity rumours she said, “We never fought over anything and everything happened on a mutual note. I had put in my papers two weeks back and had informed the producers well in advance about my exit.” Rati Pandey will be seen essaying the character of Rajshree in the show. On replacing someone in a show she said,  “This is for the first time that I am replacing an actor in an on-going show. I have never done that before,” shared the actress, adding, “The best part is that I haven’t watched the show yet as I was quite busy. I recently got a call from the production house briefing me about the show and the character. Initially, I was skeptical as it was an elderly character. Plus, I didn’t know that I had to replace someone and then be a part of the show. I didn’t know that I was replacing Rajshree as the makers were keeping everything under wraps. I knew that it is going to be a new show.The moment I came for a mock shoot, I was told about the replacement ; this happened a week back. While doing the mock shoot, I got suspicious and the intuition that this show is already on air for which I am doing the mock shoot. When I was finalised, then the production house revealed it to me. They convinced me somehow to do the show.The good part is that the show is very new and abhi utna time nahi hua hai isko. A replacement has happened at a time when I have the opportunity to take things in my hand and mould it accordingly. The storyline will now be established with my entry and had the show been a year old, then a lead ka replacement would have been risky. Not many people know that for most of my hit shows in the past I have been apprehensive in doing them, which later became popular, so I am keeping my fingers crossed for this one too.“
