Director Vignesh Shivan has penned a heartfelt birthday wish for his wife, actress Nayanthara, expressing his deep love for her.
Taking to Instagram, he shared a touching message: “Yennam Pol Vazhkai. Happy birthday my uyir @nayanthara. Nee pirandha dhinam…Varam. Love you truly, madly, deeply my azhagi, love you. From your Uyir, Ulag, big uyir, all your beloved people. With an overwhelming heart and a love-filled life, thanking the universe and God Almighty for always blessing us with the best of moments filled with abundant love, unwavering positivity, and pure goodwill.”
Recently, Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara prayed at the famous Kukke Subrahmanya temple in Karnataka. This temple was also visited earlier this year by well-known Telugu director Sampath Nandi, who offered prayers on his birthday.
As Vignesh prepares for the release of his much-anticipated film, ‘Love Insurance Kompany’ (LIK), starring actors Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty, he postpones the film’s release from October 17 to December 18 to avoid a clash with Ranganathan’s film, ‘Dude.’
The release has already been postponed several times, putting Vignesh under significant pressure. On October 17, he reflected on his superhit film ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan,’ which completed 10 years, sharing a heartfelt note on Instagram: “Ten years of NaanumRowdyDhaan today… October 21st, 2015. A life blessed with many miracles started from this lovely day. How beautifully time has played its tune…”
He explained that he had envisioned the day differently, hoping that ‘Love Insurance Kompany’ would resonate with audiences, making the occasion even more special. He shared, “Somewhere deep down, I had kept my happiness saved for that moment. But life, in its quiet wisdom, taught me something far more beautiful today.”
Vignesh pointed out that despite not having the “big moment,” he was finding contentment. “Maybe this Diwali was meant to remind me that happiness doesn’t always come with applause, astounding success, ambitious results, or release dates,” he noted.
He expressed that chasing milestones often leads to the misconception that only these achievements can bring happiness. “If you keep the rules for it simple and silly, it can be a gentle pause from everything else that kept you busy; a warm hug from your loving wife, that kiss reassuring the deep love existing for over a decade. All these are as valuable as the big wins we save our happiness for,” he shared.
Vignesh concluded by reflecting on the beauty of life’s simplicity and gratitude, stating, “Sometimes dreams take a different route — but God, in His quiet way, finds a method and timing to make you smile. A heart that feels grateful, even when things don’t go as planned, is blessed.”
He quoted, “Nenacchadhu nadandhaalum, nadakkalanaalum! Nalladheyyyy nadakkummm nu nambuvom,” signifying that whether what you believe happens or not, let’s trust that good things will come. “Believe that… Life is beautiful! God is great!”
